Since 1937, Gelateria Sartori, cause of its wonderful quality, attracts hundred of customers every day, coming from Milan or every country wordwide. During the '50, it saw the gentrify of Milan, the economic boom of the '60, the passage of the Beatles. Everyone who worked here takes the same motivation and thinking of the founder Andrea Sartori: create a great product and keep the quality of the production of real Italian Gelato. The first redesign of the kiosk in 1963, changed slightly over time, while maintaining the original structure to still breathe the atmosphere of the 60s, so dear to the Milanese people. Control high quality, care of cleanliness and friendliness of its employees allows the Antica Gelateria Sartori to bring to the palate of its customers the best classic flavors, without the need to twist it with "strange" names typical of our times. The Gelato Maestro's still delight customers through continuous improvement of its cult flavor like Nocciolato, Cream, Pistachio and Fiordilatte. The continuous proposition of traditional flavors such as Malaga, Walnut, Nougat, Castagna and Eggnog is also indicative of this philosophy. First Tradition! This is the motto! The desk operators still continue to serve customers the best that can be offered through the old way of serving Gelato, with the spatula, without the need to "work it", cause it's already creamy, fresh and ready to serve, keeping the slogan, since 1937: Sartori Gelato, superior Gelato!

Hazelnut & Yogurt Ice Cream. Yummy!!

This shop doesn't have a ice cream display but we almost miss this wonderful ice cream outlet. The hazelnut and yogurt favor was surprisingly refreshing and good. (”,)

Gelato con i pistacchi is to die for. Natural flavor and great choice between classics. It's situated on the corner of the Milano Centrale train station and does not look welcoming, but it's worth to go there.

It's a cabin/booth set up against the wall of Centrale station and, like us, you might need to be pretty determined to find it. Walk past the airport buses and keep going towards the big Poste building on Piazza Luigi de Savoia and Sartori is tucked in just where the cars emerge from the underpass. Anyway, the gelato is very... More

Absolutely love ice cream and I absolutely loved this place! The photos on here don't really look that great but believe me this place is great. It's not that easy to locate but if you go out of the station on the side where there is a car park and the airport coaches you need to walk to the end... More

My Italian collegae convinced me that I deserved a real ice-cream and took me to this place just outside the station. We were clearly not the only ones who longed for a treat, but service was quick, friendly, professional and in English (also the flavours are listed in two languages). Excellent vakje for money and one of the better places... More

Best gelato I've ever had. The chocolate, hazelnut, and Nutella (combo of both, cannot remember what it was called) were our favorites.

There are plenty of icecream shops around, especially in Milan, which look like boutique and serve pretty average ice cream. All marketing and little substance. This place icompletely the opposite, no marketing no look, but for me one of the best ice creams i have ever eaten, in Italy or abroad. This gelateria is just an ice cream stand on... More

We almost gave up in frustration b/c we had trouble finding this little gelato stand - but it is really not difficult to find. As you exit the main entrance of the Central/Main Train Station, walk around the station to the left - past the parking & taxis - and tucked away on the side of the train station, you... More

Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
