It has been a pleasure to be in this place. Easy and friendly, good staff and nice food. The best is cotoletta milanese with hand chopped potatoes that is the most typical. Also the rice with asparagus is good and served with crispy parmisan as a shelf. Nice also the pappardelle alla gricia (with parmisan and bacon). Four people around... More

My friend and I visited this restaurant on a weekend visit to Milan when we were looking for a non-touristy place to grab a meal. We found the restaurant on the Spotted by Locals app, and were not disappointed. The waitress thoroughly explained every item on the menu, as they did not have one in English, and the food was... I've been there with friends for a dinner. It seemed a plasant place and staff is very friendly: they make you comfortable. It's not a very formal place, everything is "easygoing", relaxed and clean. It was a weekday, it was not crowded (don't know during the weekend) Food is good, sometimes original (regional guisine from Piemonte). It could happen that... More

It is always a good sign when a restaurant is clearly popular with local working people, as this one is. The food is hearty, tasty, plentiful, comes quickly and is very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
