Very fine, old style Milanese pizzeria. Truly a beautiful place, with some outdoor tables as well -by the road, but nice anyway. Location: close to the Navigli, close to the Design show site of via Tortona, close to the shopping road Corso Genova -including the Biffi boutique. Food: good pizza, good ingredients, a safe stop. Service: definitely they could improve... More

Pizzeria Naturale was near our apartment and we had passed it several times buy never stopped. I'm so glad we finally did, the pizza was wonderful and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is lively and great for families with young children. What I liked most about the décor were the various globes, all different sizes hanging from walls and... More

If you decide to visit the sunday market along the Naviglio (last sunday, every month) you have to stop here for a pizza. Ask for a table in the patio, so quiet and nice, looking at a public garden in a silent area close to the market. We had pizza (wholemeal dough) and love it. The restaurant is really fancy... More

Waiting, waiting, waiting. 20 minutes to order, 20 to receive closed bottles of water, 20 to have them opened, 20 to receive food, 20 to get other forgotten food... Avoid this place by all means!!!

Had a seemingly enjoyable meal here as our first meal in Milano. We had margherita pizza and verdure. Both were scrumptious pizzas. We also ordered spaghetti con frutti di mare. The pasta was something that we did not expect since it was served with pizza dough bread on top as cover and the pasta was baked!! Something unique to be... More

A nice pizza restaurant with fresh, natural ingredients but there are better pizza alternatives nearby.

Were soaked and cold and needed to have brunch somewhere. We had a couple of pizzas, very nice crisp base, a lovely bean soup, (plenty of it with nice crusty bread) and a plain croissant with marmalade inside. Made us all laugh anyway.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
