If you can get in here (you need to reserve in the evening) it is fantastic. The locals com here. Partially open kitchen. We were lucky that there was 1 table left. Great food at reasonable prices. Welcomed with Prosecco. Deserts are delicious as well... what do you expect.

Great food, and interesting twists on classic dishes on menu. Really genuine friendly staff and excellent value for money in central Milan location! What's not to like!!

I chose this place for our lunch based on it's Italian reviews on tripadvisor and it was a very good choice. It is indeed not quite in the center of town, but we only walked about 10 minutes from the Duomo to reach it. The place was full of locals and some tourists (most people speaking Italian and quite loud)... More

The best meal we had during our two week holiday in Italy. We had reservations and need them as the restaurant was packed with locals, and for good reason. The food was delicious and the service was great. We shared a very tasty scallops au gratin appetizer, I had a wonderful spaghetti with swordfish & pesto primi and finished with... More

Last week me and my friend had a day trip from Amsterdam to Milan to have lunch and do some shopping... After reading the good reviews we mailed the restaurant and almost directly the replied that they reserved a table. We had a delicious 3 course lunch.. The food was very good but also the service and the open kitchen... More

After visiting the Duomo, we didn't feel like having lunch in the touristic centre. We selected this trattoria based on the many positive reviews in Trip Advisor and we're not disappointed. The walk from the Piazza Del Duomo is about 15 minutes. From the outside, the restaurant looks unassuming. Once inside, it is quite large with a nice open kitchen... More

We where very lucky to get a table here the same day, but you really should book ahead. We where there when it opened. The food here is really as good as the other reviews says, and seriously worth a visit. The staff is pleasant and professional.

We were searching for a place to eat and my daughter came across Nerino while reading reviews. Most reviews said they made a reservation weeks in advance but we figured we would try anyway. Since we were on vacation from New York, our best bet was to send an email to see if they responded - and they did! I... More

Every now and them one discovers a restaurant that deserves a "6," and Nerino Dieci in Milan is such a place. We crazy Americans found the door open at 6 pm on a Thursday night and walked in, only to find that the place didn't open until 7:30 pm. While waiting for the Maitre D'/Manager (Sandro), we overheard him on... More

We had a very good meal, and enjoyed really great service. A pity we couldn't personally thank our waiter who was taking orders, but basically the waiters there gave great and honest recommendations. We had: 1. Shrimp with grapefruit x gin. Very fresh, very moist and tender. 2. Lobster spaghetti. Superb and the cherry tomatoes rly elevated the dish. 3.... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
