After reviewing TripAdvisor for good restaurants in Milan, I came across Da Puccini, one of the reasons was because I have not tried the spaghetti with mixed fish covered with bread. I had booked the restaurant before and we were seated inside (outside seating available as well) the restaurant and greeted by the friendly staff. During the course of our... More

While the very shiny website makes the place seem like fine dining, it certainly has a much more rustic flair to it. I can't complain about that because the portions are generous. Servers were super friendly, and even went above to ask about our culture (sometimes people just blindly konnichiwa us, which I find a bit rude), and they knew... More

The pizza was fantastic. Even though the place is quite big the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. If you are visting Milan this place should be on your list!

I was looking for having a fish dinner in Milan central Via Dante, it was Sunday evening not many choices so I selected Da Puccini. The restaurant is nice with a new "al fresco" area just in front of the Dal Verme Theater, very nice. I was looking for the fresh catch of the day but it was not available,... More

I had the fish with mushroom sauce which I thought was just okay, the fish wasn't the freshest and the sauce was nothing special. Something very middle class quality but with first class pricing. My son had risotto with creamy saffron sauce with ossobuco, he liked it, still no wow factor. No alcohol, 1 water, 1coke, may be a salad... More

Did a quick search while in downtown Milan for a good lunch restaurant, and this little gem seemed to rate very well. With only twenty minutes till lunch finished, many are not too happy to see later arrivals, but these folks were just great with a very warm welcome and provided us with some great local fare. As others have... More

We had a great early dinner as soon as the restaurant opened at 7PM. Food was great, service excellent, house wine terrific and Giuseppe made everything special. Don't miss out on the Tiramissu!

Local little Italian that we visited last year. Authentic feel. Not touristy. Menu is pretty wide and they are obliging in substitutions. We both had pasta with mushrooms done very well with mixed salad. Didn't break the bank

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
