Stopped here for dinner and a bit of people watching. The passing parade was interesting. This place really rocks on a Friday and Saturday night. The onion soup was a great warmer, the steak was really good and the pasta adequate. Helped it all wash down with a nice chanti. Staff very efficent.

This restaurant has had very mixed reviews. However, we had lunch and two evening meals here and we both found it very good for service, food, value and atmosphere. Sample prices - salmone marinato €12, potato soup €5, mixed salad €5, tagliolini gameri.

You are spoilt for choice in Navigli, I think we decided on here through menu read overload, this menu ok the staff not too pushy, a good spot for a bit of people watching and the restaurant looked ok inside and out, we chose out under the canopy. We weren't up for a big meal so just one of the... More

Nice food, location and service. Great for people watching by the canal. Local Milanese dishes are a treat. Quite pricey, though.

To pay 20 E for a schnitzel milanesi style with nothing more than a few patatoes as a sidedish is too much. Surrounded by the happy hour crowd who pays 10 E for a drink and unlimited fast food. This suppose to be the new and upcoming area. As many other things in this city the food allongside the canal... More

Horrible - don't go there! We stopped by for a cup of tea. Since they served us a kettle and a selection of tea bags I used two. Afterwards they charged us by the number of tea bags. So far I never ever payed 9€ for three bags of Lipton tea.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
