When in Milan, eat Milanese food. It's a city that offers cuisines from all corners of Italy, but the traditional dishes from the city and from Lombardia are excellent. This trattoria specialises in them. It is in a quiet street not far from the bars...of the Navigli district. The menu was in Italian only, but it's easy to navigate it. A local place, with excellent food and a warm friendly welcome and good service. Not too expensive. It was the 'stand out' from our weekend.More

Gloria is in the kitchen and that keeps us coming back! Authentic and amazing food! Try the cotoletta or the ossobuco..or the pasta..or the tartare!

Popped by chance into this place, and found it was simply amazing! Best cotoletta alla milanese ever. Beside this, all food and wine simply superb. Out of the usual food paths downtown. Go there, you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I had high hopes after reading some glowing reviews of this place. Sadly, things didn't go right from the start. On arrival we were left standing in the doorway with the staff having seen us but seemingly pretending they hadn't. We were...then told to wait five minutes while they made a table. What followed was some of the most lack lustre service we've experienced in a long time. We had to work hard to get the waitress' attention, she forgot our order after fifteen minutes of waiting and after eating we were left with our empty plates sitting in front of us for another fifteen until we decided to make our way to the till to pay so we cutie get out of there. A miserable experience made only slightly acceptable by the really rather good linguine. We wouldn't visit again and I can't in all honesty recommend it as a place for an enjoyable evening.More

Simple, nice with good classical italian dishes, just the way they need to be. Very good tomato paccheri and artichokes. Had two wonderful nights! Good team.

This is an amazing restaurant. A very local place where the staff know all the people who were there. Owned and run by a family (it seems) and very much frequented by the same people which is nice to know. A nice mix of traditional...food along with some specialties (artichoke caponata). Make sure that you book even a couple days in advance. Very small place but well worth it. We got lucky and a group that was 6 turned to only 4 so we got 2 seats next to them.More

Expected a colorful and tasty milanese lunch and got a basic, unexciting couple of courses with poor taste and nothing great The place is crowdy and noisy, atmosphere is friendly, but good is far below expectations in all: menu, raw materials, preparation A shame

One of my favorite places in Milan. It's a small trattoria with a great menu for locavores. Everything from the cheeses to the meats are locally sourced, and you can tell it in the quality of the food. The cheese plate was to die for...- a great sampling of Lombardy cheeses - and the osso bucco was the largest serving of it I've ever seen. The house wine was affordable and delicious. They also serve you this charming little pizza as a welcome to the restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation - it gets busy quickly and no one is in a rush to leave this delicious place.More

Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient
days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar
to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the
Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are
two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande.
The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk
with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes
in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns
