I ate the most delicious octopus and potato salad ever at this place. It is an odd restaurant, very globalised, the waiter was Russian, the manager Chinese, the cook from North Africa, but the food tasted most authentically Italian and very very tasty. We sat outside, the place stayed open past 11pm. I would definitely eat here again

Found this street restaurant on first night in Milan. Pleasantly pleased with service and quality of food. Nothing too much trouble. Nice touch of a grappa on the house when we paid bill. Also let us sample a couple of wines before buying.

Went there not really knowing what I'm gonna get. And it turned out to be a very fine and affordable restaurant. The staff was brilliant and I was served by FRANCESCO he is so good, friendly and polite too. And if you want, he can help you with what you gonna order. My advice is to let him recommend the... Nice staff, but the food is below average, they made the order wrong, and after asking for the check three times I'm starting to think that I should have just stayed home and made the food myself... You're in Milano, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

We came across Pane e Tulipani while looking for some place not too far from our hotel. We were absolutely delighted when we found Via Fabio with a small selection of restaurants available and returned to Pane e Tulipani two evenings. Both nights we had caprese and a mixed cold meat plate as our antipasto. Both were delicious. The first... More

We had dinner at the Pane e Tulipani restaurant the first night that we were in Milan. Our hotel had recommended it. The staff made us feel right at home and made sure we had a fun experience. They were very friendly and the food was great. We made a point to return a second time and were not sorry.

Looks interesting from outside but a mish mash of spaces inside and relatively basic presentation. A good range of food and a reasonably expensive looking wine list with house wine by the glass only - no carafes. Servings were large as always and food was tasty. Service was great once the staff relaxed and realised we weren't ogres.

We were visiting for the weekend and chanced upon this friendly restaurant serving excellent Italian food. The multilingual staff coped with our English and others other language customers well. The waitong staff were very attentive and helpful. We were happy with allour menu choices and an enjoyable evening. We were not happy with our first wine choice and they readily... More

What a find! for budget travelers. in the 3 weeks we spent traveling in Italy and Switzerland, this was our favorite ristorante. The food was great, reasonably priced, and the the atmosphere in the outside part was warm and jolly, Ourwaiter Francesco looked after our every need and made the evening great for us. Highly recommend.

We loved the film (Bread & Tulips) and we love this restaurant. It's a family affair and exuded warmth from the moment we arrived. Our table was in the back but it's also possible to eat in the outdoors section. We chose lasagne and grilled salmon for our lunch, impeccably cooked and served with delicious grilled vegetables in season (today:... More

Who says that in Milan the restaurants are all the same, has never been at Pane e Tulipani Restaurant, where, thanks to the care of the owners, Laura and Massimo, the pleasure of the good food is flavored by the family warm. Mario is the Chef, from Marche region, in the Centre of Italy. He is able to create magnificent dishes, literally expressions of good taste combined with esthetic. And after a superb plate of Italian food, an excellent glass of wine. Salvatore, from Sicily, will direct you in the discovery of the best wine to enjoy with the right food. What could be better to conclude this tasteful journey than an homemade dessert, prepared by expert hands Both for a romantic dinner or a friendly reunion, don't forget to call Massimo, asking them a reservation to taste the special pizza "Pane e Tulipani" made by Adel the pizzaiolo, cooked in the wooden oven, as the tradition wants. Looking forward to meet you and Pane&Tulipani Restaurant!
