This is a good place for south italian dishes and pizza. It has a small ''veranda'' and a biger hall. I tried ''paccheri ai frutti di mare'' and they were quite good , specially the small octopus were deliscious. The owner is really passionate about his...job...give it a try !More
My fiancé and I went for dinner on our first night in Milan. This was just across the road from our air bnb. It was very inviting. Staff were lovely and helped us with translations. Food was yummy homestyle cooking. Not touristy rubbish! Wish they...were open on Mondays as we had to eat elsewhere and it wasn't even close to being as delicious as ristorante liu!More
My family and I eat here once a week and the owner was so warm and friendly from our very first visit. Pizzas are great, as is the fritto misto with sweet whole anchovies, spaghetti vongole (ask for the version with pomodorini) and the paccheri...with pieces of tender calamari, tomato and black olives. The sticky torta di caprese (made from chocolate and crushed almonds) is a fantastic finish.More
To my mind, the best pizza in Milan. A family-owned restaurant which does great fish and meat dishes but, when it comes to pizzas is truly outstanding. The base of the pizza is not too thick and the toppings are fresh and excellent. Not expensive....You can choose from the menu or ask for something special from the selection of produce you can see as you walk in. They'll do anything you want if they have the ingredients. Often very busy so do book.More
This place is a regular Milanese pizza place with the best pizza in the neighborhood. Nice folks. Great for take out and eating in. (They also have other dishes).
Visited this relatively famous restaurant on a pretty busy evening. But for a waiter that kept coming to check if we had finished (really annoying), atmosphere was lively, the 2 owners kept approaching our table to have a chat and suggest plates. Cuisine is Neapolitan. Pizza...is great (if you think it's not, you have never been in Naples), pasta and fish are to recommend. Desserts are hand made by the owner's wife according to the traditional recipe. Anything we ate tasted genuine, something that can't be said of many restaurants in Milan. Prices are average (8-10€ for pasta, 5-9€ for pizza, 12-18€ for fish or meat). We left thoroughly satisfied. Just don't tell the owner that you hate Napoli a.s. because he'll be really upset:)More
This restaurant which has neopolitan specialties is one of my favorites in Milan. I've easily eaten here 30 times and never been disappointed. If you have requests Mamma Pina will make you whatever you want. Great for people with small children too.
