Every time I go to Milan, I try not to miss the place. Chanmged it to more fashionable places but always came back as I never left disapponted. Food is fresh, tasty. My favourites are buffala trio, you may almost finish your dinner with it as it is really heavy. Artichokes, spinacchi, risotto. You really wish try it all but... More

Great restaurant in a super location. We had a great meal of Nebraska beef cooked as a steak Florentine, with plenty of side veggies. Everything was very tender and very flavorful. The service was outstanding.

We have visited Convivium many times over the past few years and it never disappoints. It is located in the Brera district, one of Milan's chicest areas. The restaurant is always full and mostly frequented by locals. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and the food, in particular the pasta and pizza dishes are fresh and well prepared. The wine... We really enjoyed this place -- one of the few open on Sunday evenings. A bit sorry that the portions were too big for us, but the quality and taste of the food was excellent. As was the service.

Wonderful dinner and dining experience. Simply the best fish stew ever (it's basically a meal by itself). Excellent veal Milanese. Perfect service, modern stylish decor, wonderful ambiance.

Great food, service and ambiance. As Americans we felt very welcome and the staff was very accommodating to the language barrier. My friend had the seafood soup, which really was the largest seafood stew we had ever seen - fresh and delicious. The veal, seafood, pasta all top notch. The equal of any fine restaurant in NYC or other major... More

A friend recommended us that place and it was worth it. The Salmon tartar is fantastic. Same goes for the desserts - the cheesecake and the creme brulee are wonderful.

Charming restaurant. Deceivingly small frontage, place is long and stretches back. Modern look, high ceiling, elegant place settings. Very attentive waiter. Menu in multiple languages. Delicious breads and crustini sprinkled with olive oil before meal. Portions very generous.

Wonderful service, beautiful place, great food and atmosphere. Nice wines too. Very elegant but still relaxed. Dessert table filled with fresh berries gave extra bonus.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
