A family dinner on the terrace: great location, great open air, great setting Service is kind and efficient But the food is bad: starters, pasta dishes, more than anything else the main courses (Milanese meat, fish, etc) are bad Badly cooked, very badly fried (potatoes, fish) Disappointing and a shame: such a beautiful place deserves a far better kitchen!!! We pop up for quick lunch. We had asparagus risotto and calzone, sorbetto and pana cota, four glases of wine and two espresso, everything was very tasty and for less than 60 Eur. Restaurant is nice, if it is not to hot, you can enjoy terrace! If near Navigli or Zona Tortona, pop up for nice meal!

My friend and I travel all over the world and have never been to such a despicable place, being treated with so much disrespect. We came in to have a cup of tea, which we explained to one of the waiters as we came in. Another waiter came to take our order for food, and as we explained we just... More

I visited ristorante boccino on a Monday evening by myself on a recent business trip. I knew nothing of the restaurant but was delightfully surprised by the quality and care of the food as well as the friendly service (especially given I was alone, clearly a visitor, and don't speak Italian). The tuna was perfectly prepared and the homemade bread... More

Service was excellent, fast and friendly. The kids ate very good pizzas and we had the menu that was both creative and very good. If you are in the area, do go there and you won't be disappointed.

Lovely location and romantic terrace, but the pizza didnt live up to expectations - crust was slightly sweet (!) and doughy. A complaint didnt get much of a reaction from the waiters either. Shame!!

I ate here with three business colleagues who know the area and the food was very good. I had the spaghetti with shrimp, main course, and it was very tasty. It is a very popular typical Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Milan City Centre. Have the macaroons with an after dinner coffee, not to be missed.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
