We had great expectations for this ristorante as it's a little off the beaten track and very traditional looking as we like it. Well, first course was really very good buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes and basel the cheese was so fresh. Next course was osso booco with malanese rice, the meat was grisly and tough as though it wasn't cooked... More

So thoughtful in ingredient selection, preparation, and presentation. Attentive service and a solid grasp of English.

We first went for a drink on the roof top terrace, amazing views across Milan. Then next evening we ate our meal up there. The food was delicious, the service was brilliant all the food comes up 5 floors then up a spiral stair case, thankyou.

We arrived at this Ristorante just as they were opening on a Monday evening. It looked rather up-market so we explained that we were tired and jet-lagged from our flight from Canada and were just looking for a pizza and a bottle of wine before collapsing into bed. We were welcomed into the lovely dining room with the warning that... More

I was visiting that place randomly because we were walking by but I can only WARN you to go there... 1. The waiters were all pretty impolite - they tried to act urbane but you could clearly see that they had no real education as a waiter or any specidic education I expect for a restaurant of that price range... You know when you are in a genuinely good traditional restaurant when it is patronised mainly by local people. In fact they call in even up until 11 pm making for a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We love to eat here because it is in a quiet area well away from the tourist hoards in the Opera/Dumo area. It was convenient... More

It was actually by chance that we ate at this restaurant in Milan, our apartment was more or less a 100 meters from this street and we thought of eating here since a friend told us "Milan specializes on seafood". The staff was very accommodating and attentive, in our country (or probably in our family) we normally don't do the... More

Came here for the third time in two years and we were really disappointed. This used to be a very special place. But this time round, the restaurant was almost empty, the food was average and the service was artificially fake-friendly. Wondering what has happened.

We were there by the recommendation from the hotel staff. It only 5 minutes walk from the hotel we were staying. (around 5 minutes walk from Duomo di Milano) . It was a small and family style restaurant. The food was good and above average and best of all, it was opened until midnight.

This place is about 6 minutes walk from the Duomo, along little cobbled streets but it is well worth seeking out as it is a place where locals go for a nice night out. Friendly staff, crisply starched tablecloths and good food. Lovely. We paid 90 euros for dinner with wine.

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
