Great location, the restaurant is in a historical building in front of the Navigli. Inside it's very nicely furnished with an antique atmosphere. The food is typical from the Milanese cuisine and it is great. Waiters are kind, and service is fast. Strongly recommended

Delicious food and good service. Quite pricy but really good food. Great location by the canal. Nice areas to eat both in and out. Have the feeling this place is used a lot by locals.

My Italian friend of many years recommended this restaurant. It was good, not great. The service was okay, not great either. There were a lot of people dining there on a Monday night, so I suppose it’s quite popular with the locals. The restaurant is...located in a pretty area on a pedestrian friendly street adjacent to the river. The building is old and charming and once housed a laundromat type business. In other words, the location and history are special. The food however, was not.More

We called from the USA to make reservations for New Years Eve about 2 weeks prior. They took our information for the table of 5 and promised a follow up email that never arrived. When we called again, they said that they did not have...our information and that they could not accommodate us for the evening. Disappointing!!More

Our restaurant is closed from 24 to 26 december and from 30 december to 2 january every years because even our staff must spend this time with their family so it’s no possible that your reservation was before accepted and after deleted. Sorry so much...More

Besides being located in one of the best spots in Milano, the food was amazing. It is highly recommended, service was friendly, and drinks were cool.

Of all the little cafés and decent restaurants we went to throughout Italy, I think this place was our only fine dining experience. The service and food were great. I ordered the shrimp ravioli, which actually appeared to be tortellini. There were only four, but...jumbo size, that could have easily equaled eight ravioli. Very delicious. My cousin also had the ravioli, and his wife had the seafood risotto. We also had wine service. Everything was outstanding.More

We eat here last night and the food and the service were first class. We had a table outside which is a very lovely pretty area. We totally disagree with some of the reviews stating the portions were small or it was expensive. The portion...sizes were perfect and we felt that the prices were reasonable and to be expected for this standard to food. We will be back.More

Not a very good evening. Firstly I booked a table with a message requesting a romantic table for my partners 30th birthday!! Arrived and was given a terrible table upstairs in the middle of a room rather then a window or outside in the courtyard....It's like they hadn't read the request or more so didn't care. Service was at first ok but as the night progressed got worse. The food was also nothing special, don't think they know what a long way some salt and pepper goes. All tastes bland and lacked flavour. We had 3 courses of savory food and left hungry. After the first 2 courses we could tell we wouldn't enjoy the last one so we asked if it was even started as we wanted to cancel it. We left alot of our final course and wasn't asked once if everything was ok!! The waiter just seemed to want us gone. He could tell we wasn't happy and not once asked if there was anything he could do. The bill was alot of money that felt wasted as we had eaten in a number of places before that were all very good. Considering this was meant to be the highlight of our trip it was actually our worst experience. Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. Service and food was both nothing special. Also when leaving I went to the toilet to find no toilet tissue or hand towels!!! That is just not acceptable anywhere but especially in a place that obviously sees itself as Bester then anywhere else.More

The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk

This restaurant is among the most famous in Milan for the classic Milanese cuisine (Meneghina), but I am sure that if you speak in good time with the Maitre you will satisfy your request

I would say 50€ min. If entree and main and some wine shared or otherwise as my solo meal with dessert and wine was 67€.
