You need to book or get here early but the food is excellent and the busy atmosphere makes you appreciate being in Italy. Recommended by our hosts and popular with locals. Staff were very helpful. Good pizzas and the fish/seafood looked amazing but not our thing.

Having gone to Milan in search of the perfect pizza, I have found a contender for the top spot. We thought we would try this place as it was near to the station for our return trip home and was in a reviewers guide as one of the best top 10 in 2014. I can say that I agree and... More

We arrived at noon and were very politely told they did no open for another 10 minutes, so we walked around the Saturday market just outside and returned about 12:20. We were greeted by a smiling happy waiter that showed us to our table. Instantly recognising that we were English he grabbed some English menus. We explained that we came... More

The food is ok, nothing to rave about. We gave the cashier a €100 bill on a €42 check, she gave us €6.50! When we told her this is incorrect, she gave us the rest of the money. I hope this is an isolated incident, but be careful.

Everything was in Italian. Fortunately we had a local with us. The seafood appetizer was pretty good. Loved the bread/fried Italian food appetizer. Also, had a pizza for dinner (San Gennaro). Pretty good, wish it had more tomato sauce.

Potentially it looks cool: Buzzy, funny atmosphere and welcoming staff. But the food is quite bland albeit at good value.

Get there early so you can get a table. If you like seafood, first class buff moz and your pizza with a bubbling crust this is the place. Haute couture no, great food and value for money yes.

Absolutely incredible food (we had the pizza's) for a great price! There are a lot of locals, but it has an English menu. The service was quick, and the waiters were really nice!!

Situated in walking distance from the central station this is one truly fine southern Italian restaurant. Pricey, but not as much as some other central places. But, hey, the taste, the smells and sounds and genuine feel! We dined there for two evenings just to try as much as we could. Do go, recommend!

Eat early (19:30) as this place fills up quickly after 20:00, even in mid-week (although it was fashion week when we were there) Fantastic pizza and a beer.

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
