Super service. Great food and wonderful company made for an excellent evening dining al fresco. Excellent wine choice helped by a fantastic waitress, Gabriella, who is training to be a sommelier and did a fantastic job.

It's one of the best value for money in the Navigli district, especially for Italian food. I've been going often with both friends and colleagues, never disappointed. Good food, fair prices, wide choice, nice service and pleasant terrace during summertime. Warmly recommended.

Between friends we had dinner there while we were in Milan for my bachelorette party. The place was crowded and lively, which was perfect and what we were looking for. They were able to find us a table quickly (for 8). However, we were not in the waiter's vision so we had to wait a lot to get our orders.... More

We have been to the Indiana Post for Apero. First thing you recognize is the stylish service staff, all man with white shirt and loosely wearn tie. And on top of that, they do know what they do - the service was really excellent. The food was OK but nothing special .....

living nearby, we choose this place as the best italian brunch in Milan: good food and no surprise at the cashout, very friendly waitress, no long waiting time...

We had the best dinner of our stay in Milan in Indiana Post. Friendly and professional service. Delicious food and very cosy atmosphere. Absolutely worth a visit! Unfortunately the renovation of the road effected the terrace in October, but they have several tables inside, where we had our dinner.

I've been here for Saturday brunch a few times. It's not the usual buffet style brunch that Milan seems insistent on doing, but rather for 11.50 euroes (including cover charge) you can choose a dish from the menu, a choice of about 5. The eggs benedict and scrambled eggs are both pretty good by Italy standards, and come with fried... More

On our moring of departure we called at the The Indian Post on the corner of Via Casale for brunch and I have to say that it was 1st class and very reasonable. Beware though, the scrambled eggs actually come with sausages, bacon, potatoes and fried bread, not really scrambled eggs but very good all the same. The waitress was... More

I know this place well - lived in Milan for years and spent many happy hours there. It's a family-run business and a warm friendly place. Brunch is great, and the bar is the best in Milan - knowledgeable bar tenders and a huge selection of drinks. The location is fun - along the historic Naviglio Grande, with monthly antique... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
