We passed by this cafe before our trip to Venice from the Central Train station. We took away 2 panini and small cannoli! These was the most delicious panini I ate for the past time...and cannoli were the same like in Sicily!!! The prices are not expensive at all, the only thing if you would like just to take coffee... I visited on a Sunday night and the place was busy. Service was quick and we ordered pizza which was okay - substantial with a decent amount of topping. The decor is traditional and not unattractive but the tables were on the small side and too close together. Not a bad place to eat if you're waiting for a train... More

I am actually shocked not only by the quality of the dining experience this place offers, but also by the amount of negative reviews. This place is literally a gem and I would give a 5++ if I could. Firstly, the servers were exceptionally friendly, talkative, polite and well dressed. The place was super clean, the glasses were crystal clear,... More

Went here twice during a four day visit to Milan, very reasonable great food, service maybe seem slow but busy and food served at the right pace for a relaxing evening

Actually we were not expecting a good cafe/restaurant in such a central place, but Panzera proved us that we were wrong. We ordered vegetable soup, mignon, pizza, lamb cutlet, and desserts. All was very delicious, and the prices were not expensive for the quality. Highly recommended!

The pizza was great. Spaghetti carbonara was poor. Beer was nice. Service was .....50/50- fast but not welcoming... Salads were o.k. coffee was cold. Cakes....better to skip

Had lunch today with my daughter here and to say it was delicious would be an understatement...it was fantastic and not very expensive .. However the little Chinese waiter was not so friendly but the lovely handsome Italian waiter so made up for it. Will be back before we leave on Sunday.

If you have a few spare minutes for a snack at the Centrale train station of Milan, try a sandwich at this caffe'. They are freshly made and take away is also available. Waiters are slow and not well educated. This is a pity for this strategically located cafeterie. Light lunches are served up to the early afternoon.

This bar is well located for the main station in Milan and offers a better alternative to the station itself. The bar section is spacious and typical of many café/bars in a traditional style. The pastry selection is good and the bar offers a broad drink and snack selection. The café section was busy each time I visited, but I... More

This pastry shop/ cafe is of the highest quality. It opened in 1931, the same year that the immense Central Railroad Station, a block or two away, first opened. My wife and I had late night cappuccini, and a few pastries, including a miniature, rum-soaked baba au rum that was so delicious. I am sure that there must be 995... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
