On the top floor of the Rinascente building there are several restaurants and a food store . In Obicá you get the best pizza, my preferred one is the Margarita, just crusty, with excellent buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomatoes and all the ingredients are biological . The place is rather simple but on the terrace you have the direct and... More

I have got to be a bit hard on these guys. If anything, because the price point is fairly high for the type of experience you can expect. The food is good and of great scene, but only if you are a tourist and not accustomed to real Italian cuisine. Compared to even just a year ago, the flavor seemed... More

Just across Duomo it stroll at 7th floor of the Rinascente shopping center. Restaurant offers as entrees mainly the different varieties of buffalo mozzarella, accompanied by charcuterie, which were all very good. We try starter plates and different variety of pizza, all of them were great. We also ordered bottle of red wine, which was good but overpriced Supper for... More

Not the first time, however I see a bad trend on it. Pizza: highest standard, ingredients at their best. Service: definitely to improve, too many clients to follow, if you are 2 or 4 or 6 no problems but if you're odd you'll get in trouble due to tables very small: in 3 you can just order a salad each,... If you’re done your day shopping in Milan, plant your feet at the Obika Mozzarella Bar on the 7th floor of the Rinascente department store. Of course, being a Mozzarella bar, the Mozzarella was excellent. :) Of course, the view of the Duomo is really its main course. Speaking of Rinascente, the top floor has a great selection of biscuits... More

Food without taste and staff without smiles, terrible experience. Not what you expect from Milan! The waiter really had a bad attitude towards his customers. The food really, but really had no taste... This is just not done in Italy to present such food. We had to also often asks for something three times untill we got it and nothing... More

The location is at the seventh floor, literally next to Duomo with almost just a hand of space in-between the two. I would probably think that the majority of people complaining about the slow or bad service are not keeping in mind that it's only three to maximum four people taking orders for both the terrace and the space indoors,... The venue of this restaurant is directly opposite the Duomo cathedral in Milan. Make sure you reserve ahead of time to avoid 45-90minute wait! The food is very good but the view is much better. Make sure you are seated in the terrace if a good and warm sunny day.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
