This had been recommended by a friend in the UK and luckily, was by our hotel so we made reservations. The restaurant didn't appear to be expecting us and when I told them we had a reservation, they said it didn't matter. It was very bright, feeling almost clinical and no music. This combined with the fact they sat us... More

We stayed in a nearby hotel and in our first attempt was unsuccessful due to the long waiting queque. We came back on a Monday night and we enjoyed our dinner. The food is decent italian food with a nice ambience.

We found this place by accident on our last night in Milan. We had no trouble finding a table and the waiter was friendly and cracked cheesy jokes in English. Our pizzas were delicious and when my husband remembered eating here twenty years ago he said that not much seemed to have changed. This is not a fine dining establishment... More

I had been more often to this place already and always loved it. Its not too elegant but still not a simple cheap italian Restaurant. Pizza, pasta everything really nice and great. For me the best had been the Dessert, think its called Merengue! Reallly nice kind of Icecream with Meringue and also hot Chocolate on Top! Go there and... More

We entered for dinner and had an excelent experience. It seems that the restaurant is about 50 years old and maybe not modern but we were recieved with a warm welcome and a very nice waiter explain with a lot of empaty about the menu. Homemade fantastic food. Prices are reasonable. For sure will come again.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted with smiley faces of the staffs, We decided to order Pate, homemade spaghetti with bacon and cheese ,and Napoletana pizza ( with anchovies ) In fact, the staff recommended us the home made pizza but they informed us that it will be the thick pizza which we don't like , so we chose... It's a place we liked, and visited a lot , for 30 years. Now, after management change - what a sour disappointment! Bad and tasteless pizza , waiter who changed the price (we had to ask for the menu again to change the price..) Even our favorite dessert was not the same.. Bad service , grissini fell on the floor,... More

Typically Italian. They serve you when they feel like it, but the food when you get it is great. Freshly cooked and very, very tasty. Good, honest Italian. Recommended.

The name pizzeria (following restaurant) is often a recipe for disaster, indicating a lower standard of cuisine. Not so for Sabatini, where the food on the menu is delicious, the ambience pleasant and traditional, the service prompt and accurate. The presence of many customers who are obviously regulars is always a good sign. I had a very traditional Milanese dish... More
