My husband and I enjoyed a great dinner there in mid-September. Still remember the appetizer with a light anchovy cream sauce mmmm. Dishes were both delicious and adventurous.

My wife and I had lunch here during our Stresa visit. We have eaten here a number of times during our visits to Stresa. The meals have always been very good to excellent. The two brothers that own the restaurant are a delight. We are always remembered. They are very warm but always very professional. Will always return.

We ate here two weeks ago and sat at four tables of four rather than as a large group. Everyone enjoyed their food, some raved. My pasta with truffles was excellent. We found the price to be quite reasonable and the atmosphere and service quite pleasant. It was, to be fair, a weeknight toward the end of the season (mid-October).

Wonderful varied tasting menu, good service and wine - but rubbish ambience. The adjoining room had a large family group over two tables, including several young children. There were food fights, yelling, shouting, adults not taking any notice or engaging with children. Such a shame, it was my birthday and we had expected a really special romantic experience in a... This was an older type restaurant with pristine table covers and good cutlery. Unfortunately, service was so slow that we considered leaving before we had even ordered food. The manager had to constantly remind waiting staff that we were sitting at a table. On the plus side we were offered a free starter, obviously because of the wait, and our... More

My Mrs & I try and take a big trip every 2-3 years, and always around our Anniversary. This trip was to Italy's Lake Country for our 30th Anniversary. We found this restaurant online- and made a reservation on Facebook- and got a reply in short order! We arrived and were seated in the back Dining room, which was actually... More

Service a little slow but the rear garden is a lovely place to sit and the food was. good, also there were some welcome changes from the bog standard menu on offer in most places

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for our final evening in Stresa. We had a lovely corner table- a bit chilly to be outside in the garden. Again, authentic northern Italian cuisine- everything fresh - pasta with more truffles than I would get in any US restaurant. They are so generous! The braised duck was exceptional, full of flavor and done... More

We spend 4 months of the year in nearby Ticino Switzerland. We know a good pasta when we taste one, this restaurant is just appalling! We had Spaghetti with fresh lake fish, the dish looked awful and tasted very fishy, just inedible! One of us had tagliatelle with black truffle no taste whatsoever just a dark mass of tagliatelle with... More

A small attractive restaurant whose owner attends every table. His staff is pleasant and most efficient. Our food was superb. The only pate offered since we have been here and delicious rack of lamb. One of our best meals on this trip.
