We were catching the 1.20 train to Geneva, so didn't have time to eat in town. We had a great pizza here instead. Two pizzas with wine and water 25 euro. Ideal pre-travel. We went in at 12. We were warned pizzas would take 20 mins. I think the oven was still heating up. There are other items on the... More

Stopped here for a snack before getting a train. The service was quick and the food was good. All you need from a restaurant!

My husband and I had pizza here just yesterday and it was excellent. Cooked in a wood fired oven, very fast service and nice ambiance. We had just come back from a trip to Milan so decided to have pizza before going home. I would certainly recommend and would not hesitate to go back.

I popped in to have a pizza as I had arrived early to meet somebody from the train. I was very tempted by their seasonal menu (based on porcini mushrooms) but I did not have time. The service was face, the pizza delicious - cooked in traditional wood fired oven. Very good.

If you want excellent pizza at a good price, then this is the place. Service is very fast so don't expect to be there for long. Mostly locals and few tourists - but then it is at the train station. Take aways available. The Calzone was average (hence the very good not excellent) and had luke warm filling.

Many restaurants in Stresa are only concerned with the feeding of a herd of passing tourists without tastebuds. THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT. We came in the first night and had a sumptuous meal. An excellent antipasto (trio of fish preparations), pappardelle with duck ragu, fresh raviolini filled with sea bass and then there where the secundi…delicious. (€90 with drinks). During... More

This unassuming restaurant served up great pizzas (really thin) which were cooked in a proper wood fired oven. Other food was on the menu, but we only had pizza. The tiramissu was nothing to write home about. Don't be put off by it being in the station!

Outside it was unprepossessing, but inside it was an enjoyable experience. Had its own pizza oven, our waitress (Cuban) spoke good English, and it exceeded our expectations. Also good value.
