Sadly, we wanted to like this place very much, especially after reading the reviews and getting a personal recommendation. However, we've had far better Italian food in both Paris, Geneva and heck, even New York. The staff was very friendly which compels me to give it a three star review versus two. The quality of the food was average, the... More

Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. It was an easy walk from our hotel.

We had high hopes after reading the reviews and getting a personal recommendation. Entrees/prime platti were good but the main courses were very disappointing- average quality food, side dishes lukewarm, fish overcooked. And the most expensive meal by far in our time in Italy.

A lovely little restaurant with really nice service. Our food was delicious and traditional Italian. Reasonably priced too.

Passed by during day and then on back of trip advisor reviews went for dinner. Not disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff and good wine recommendation. Grilled escalope of veal beautifully cooked tender and tasty with lovely mixed boiled veg without butter or herbs. The chocolate salami is a must only 5 euros and it is chocolate heaven. Don't be put... More

V near the cathedral but with an anonymous frontage. Get there before 8.30pm (or book). We dined inside in a vaulted dining room. Good menu but also a few specials. Excellent warm hors-d'oeuvres and one of the best tiramisu ever. €124 for 3 people x 2 courses + 1 tiramisu + 1 bottle wine.

We dined in a group of 12 and the food was excellent. The owner was very attentive to our needs and explained the dishes in English for us. The first dish was a thin veal covered with a tuna paste and capers and was unbelievably amazing. Something new for me. Secondo was scallopine one of the many veal dishes. Also... More

When dining in Como it's great to have a view of the lake, or at least a piazza. This place has neither so I guess their food better be good, and it is. On a Tuesday night both their downstairs and upstairs diningrooms were full. A local recommended this place to us and told us to order the veal ossobucco.... More

My husband and I found that sharing first and second plates is the way to go. We had fabulous spaghetti carbonara, followed by a grilled veal chop. Asparagus in oil and cheese was a special of the day. Although it was the best we ever had, it was only 1 € less than the veal chop. A bit pricey considering... More
