there is a good quality/price ratio at this restaurant. Though some of the dishes on the menu were not exactly matching the expectation

The interesting thing was on the two nights we visited we were surrounded by Italians only. And that had a lovely charm - also there was a good reason for them to be there - the food was great. From simple Pizza dishes to quite...delicious 1st and 2nd courses, this place is excellent. Not to much frills around the decor and the staff were - well Italian. And that was just fine with us.More

Typical italian restaurant. The plates are big and tasty. The service is nice and efficient. The tiramisú was very good. Would recomend it.

Very professional with great meals, in true (As I can imagine) Italian style. Hidden, without to many tourists makes this place authentic. All dishes were flawless!

One word - outstanding. Staff very efficient - English is a tad dodgy though. I can recommend any meal off the menu having eaten here regularly during our stay in Como. Famiy owned and run - complete with family dog! Very traditional - nuff said.

Okay, the surrounding streets are a tiny bit seedy. However, it is close to the station as well as the historic old town of Taranto. This is a true working (wo-)man's trattoria. Nothing fancy, but solid good food (as well as some surprising dishes). When...we arrived at 8pm, there were only men present, many with colleagues and still in their workclothes (the industrial harbour is close). Later, some female guests arrived. Friendly, casual atmosphere, prompt service and prices ranging from €1 to €5. YES, per dish! Generous amounts, too. Actually, we shouldn't share this, because it should stay the way uit is, with only the occasional tourist. So please, only go there if you're really poor OR very appreciative...More

Really authentic pizza at a great price. Mostly locals eating here and a family run business. The appetizers and pasta looked delicious, but we were after pizza. One each and a bottle of wine and we were full. They left a bottle of home made...Limoncello for after dinner shots - fabulous! Off the tourist circuit, so give it a try 👍More
