We only found this gem on our final day in Bellagio. We ate outdoors on a patio shaded by a vine covered trellis. Luigi is an excellent young chef with International experience gained in London, Switzerland, Germany and France. His use of local fish, shellfish and fresh pasta were exceptional, although his creative puddings are to die for. Just a... More

We had not heard about this restaurant but found it to be exceptional. Luigi the Chef offers fresh fish, seafood, home made pasta and meat dishes. He took our order and was very helpful guiding us through the menu. The 6 of us all chose something different and each of us were bowled over by the quality of the food and... More

This is a cant miss meal. If you are not sure where to eat in Bellagio and are looking through reviews, be assured that you will talk about this meal as a highlight of your trip. We even went back for a second night. Chef Luigi is a rock star who spends all the time you want walking you through... More

Chef Luigi Gandola is a credit to the restaurant. Excellent food and service. Just outside the main town of Bellagio, so a nice quiet, secluded location. Locally caught fish is the speciality on the menu, which we tried and we were not disappointed. A vegan member of our group was well catered for with vegan wine on the menu. Well... More

This restaurant is great. It is away from the crowds in Bellagio and is a family owned and run restaurant. It is very relaxing. The food and wine are great and Chef Luigi - whose father started the restaurant - is clearly very passionate about his cooking and taking care of his guests.

The place is very nice, good food, it is clear that they care about every dish that leaves the kitchen, we went here twice, the only ngtive is that there is no lake view.

We booked this on recommendation from the place we were staying. However it was easily bottom of the list of places we ate. The atmosphere was very poor, potentially down the fact only two tables in the place were being used. The chef seems a nice guy but I simply thought it was ok.

Phenomenal experience cooking then eating. Experience of a lifetime with my daughter that I will cherish forever. We visited the garden and picked saffron and zucchini blossoms that we later stuffed and ate in a tomato reduction. We rolled tri-colored pasta that was prepared two ways--a buffalo mozzarella ravioli and with a bolognese sauce. We made a squash blossom risotto... More

Booked at the very last minute on the final day of our holiday and the head chef Luigi came and picked us up from out hotel 45 mins later which was super handy and a nice touch. The restaurant is beautiful, no lake views, but lovely none the less. The food is some of the best we've ever had and... More

Description
Chef Luigi invite you to Salice Blu Restaurant for lunch and dinner, during the summer season and the winter season. It is possible to have lunch and dinner in the pergola terrace and in the back of the restaurant, if you'd like to see, we have an aromatic and vegetables garden. The menu is 100% Italian, with fresh fish from our lake and fresh hand-made pasta. To have a good table, it is good having a reservation and if you'd like Chef Luigi can pick up you in Bellagio. Every day chef Luigi does Private Cooking Lesson.
