Great pizza

I was unfashionably early, but the restaurant filled up around me as I ate my lovely pizza. Really good pizza and lots to choose from. It’s quite modern and austere in decor but to be fair that doesn’t impact on the tastiness of the food.

A very nice ambience with very friendly and helpful staff. The food is good, with a varied menu. Portion sizes are good, and it is good value for money

First night pizza

Visited here on our first night in Bergamo - we ordered five pizzas and they were all excellent. Great staff and atmosphere.

It is good restaurant. We tried pizza and it was really delicious. Prices are decent, only beer is too expensive. Recommended.

It is good, but too expensive. €5,50 for a beer is too much. €2,50 for three slices of bread. There is good food here nearby.

Our prices are aligned with the ones of the prime materials (and using high quality ones drives the prices a little bit higher) and the costs of running a business in our area; we would also like to point out that "coperto" not only comprehends the bread that is brought to you but also the cost of the service in a more general way. That being said, we post the menù on our website (as well as on our windows) in case you want to check it before entering

Fresh and delicious

I visited this restaurant, located in the new town (not città alta) and I did enjoy the food there! My linguine al farro con vongole and bottarga really delicious and delicate, the pizza well done following the real tradition from Naples. The ingredients, fish especially, fresh and well cooked, the bread home made and the selection of wines surprising. I will be back!

We visited this restaurant as it was almost next door to our accomodation. Lovely setting tablecloths linen nice glassware. The food was very good we hadn't had any pasta for a while so we opted for bolognaise which was very good and as a second meat balls wit potatoes and salad. We all enjoyed our food washed down with a couple of bottles of wine recommended by our friendly waitress. The total bill was approx €140 that was 4 first & 4 seconds plus 2 bottles of wine. We were happy with the whole meal

Make sure you try this Italian family friendly pizzeria It's off the main road but worth the walk to find it. Pizzas are just amazing. Staff are so friendly. Make sure you have the cassa frizzante 1/2 litre. It's so nice. This restaurant caters for large family meals but is just as good for small romantic meals. I have been several times. Give this a try. Spot on place to eat

Amazing Pizza!!!

Went as a family of three, everyone loved their Pizzas. Very friendly and great service. Good prices. Great house wine (red) and good wine (and beer) list. Definitely worth a visit!

A very enjoyable Friday night meal catering superbly with ten diners in our party Despite the group ordering a wide variety of main courses the food was well prepared and delicious. The house wines excellent value and pleasant to drink

Very good restaurant Italian and pizzeria. Nice service. Fresh and tasty fishes cooked perfectly and served with delicate dressings. The deserts are home made. The tiramissu is very good and the semifreddo is excellent.

Excellent Restaurant

Just back from Bergamo where Ancora became our favourite place for food . Just off the main drag of the downtown area on a side street . Frequented by locals , which is always a good sign , most of them on pizzas but we had mussels and the pumpkin risotto which is hard to tear yourself away from once you have had it . Half a litre of wine is 5 euros , same for prosecco . If you are in Bergamo for whatever reason , try this place out . But if you want to go on a saturday night , be warned , it is rammed after 8 o'clock , we saw a lot of people turned away and it is a fairly decent sized place .

Not just for the pizza

This is a rather unassuming restaurant in a city that offers several dazzling places to eat - but it has turned out to offer quite a surprise. The interior is modern and a bit plain; but it is an honest family business that seems to draw a lot of locals in the evening. And not without reason: it serves superb, fresh seafood with a friendly service, at modest prices. It was genuinely nice dining here - even after other, more fancy locales in the old town.
