We had dinner here when we visited Bergamo a month ago. The food was fantastic and the view was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t help ourselves and went back the next day. I also tried their pizza which met the expectations. I would definitely recommend visiting...this place.More

Good food. The pizza is ok. I highly recommend this place for a summer pizza or dinner in the lovely terraces overlooking Bergamo’s hills at sunset. A must-go!

Dear all the staff at San Vigilio, We visited your lovely restaurant at the end of January for my daughters 14th birthday. Our friends and old neighbours from London came to surprise her there that day. We now live in Scotland. Our memory of that...gorgeous day is very special and we keep thinking of you all. Your community has had so much suffering with Coronavirus since our visit. We pray for you, we dearly hope you are well and hope to return one day soon, when all this is behind us. Maybe her next birthday, please God. With all our love and prayers and hopes for the future, Pauline and Meghan BurnsMore

The perfect restaurant to enjoy the sunset in Bergamo. With a wonderful vantage point over the valleys below, this restaurant is both romantic and tasty. We sat right by the floor to ceiling window, which our server opened for us, and had just the very...best time. We shared a burrata dish and sipped some local white wine. Take the funicular up and keep walking straight and you’ll literally run right into this wonderful restaurant.More

Had lunch here today, looking out over a stunning view of the Lombard Plain, the Prealps, and the snow-capped Alps in the distance. Service was excellent. Amongst what we ate were gnocchi, salmon with red cabbage, and affogato, all of which we much enjoyed.

Delicious italian pizza with amazing view! Idyllic place. We were here at lunch time so there we got table immediately and service was nice.

Recommended to us by our hotel, apparently owned by this restaurant owner. Hotel super. Restaurant not. Apparently owned 40 years. Furnishings dont appear to have been ever renovated. Food was ok but menu variety was not interesting. Wife served after 20+ minutes, 3 pizzas not...served til after she was done with her course + 15 min. And 3.50 per person charged for stale bread. And only a "sorry" as comp. And this with no other meals coming out during this time. Always be careful of restaurants with a view.... it doesn't make up for service and food if not done right.More

Ok to the prices of a margherita pizza (€7), a fresh orange juice glass (€4) and a coca-cola can (€3,5). But to charge 7 euros (we were a couple) as a "coperto" (extra price) just for a mere tablecloth? Neither a single peace of bread,...as usual, in every restaurant in Italy? That is really decepcionating!...More

Take the Funicular to San Vigilio. This will provide an excellent view of the upper city and lower city. The restaurant is easy to find and provides those excellent views through large glass windows over the valley. Wood fire pizza had excellent flavor. Crust was...cracker thin, as well. Very happy our Airbnb host recommended this restaurant to us.More
