Was in this restaurant yesterday evening and boy what an overpriced poncy experience, I ( not liking Italian food) ordered the Angus burger and stated no sauce, just a plain burger with potatoes. Well can you believe out came this slate with a burger dripping in white melted cheese surrounded with a few jacket potatoes, the whole platter looked offensive.... More

When we arrived without booking, we were shown to a table by a friendly waitress. She asked if we'd like water and assured us it was gratis (free). I had a pasta dish with lamb sauce, which was tasty but nothing special to warrant €14. My partner had a pork dish which again was fine, but lacking anything significant in... More

As a person who can cook food exceptionally well, I found this place disappointing. With a cover charge that is extortionate and tiny portions this really does not work. The food was mediocre. There are much better places to eat in which are less pretentious, and tastier with a bit of soul on the side.

We stopped at Vineria Cozzi to sit at the bar and have a glass of wine. We ordered two glasses of Chardonnay and they were out! So we ordered some other white wines and continued with white wine. The really nice thing about Vineria Cozzi, like so many other places in Italy, is they serve you free food with your... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel owner but in all honesty after walking around the Citta Alta we would have chosen Vineria Cozzi. It's got a welcoming appearance from the outside and you can sit inside or in an enclosed area which has an open aspect onto the street. It isn't as cheap as some of the... More

Regarding the food, this restaurant gets 5 stars from me. I had a pasta dish with a sauce that included chestnuts and I ate every bit. My hesitation in giving the restaurant a better review concerns hospitality. I reserved a table via email a few weeks in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated at a table... Nice italian atmosphere sitting outside watching the crowds go by. Food is good and service as well. They sell - like all others here - local specialties amongst which the Polenta Bergamasco and the famous Casoncelli. These 2 are a must-eat and are being served here well.

We had an evening meal. The setting is pleasant and the staff helpful. My starter, a bruschetta consisted of puff pastry muffin with a slice of meat and was not particularly tasty, needing more fat and salt, I do not wish to live 15 seconds longer to eat tasteless food. My wife had a selection of meats but with far... More
