Antonio is away from the sea front, although is only a 5 minutes walk, in a quiet location. I would recommend trying the fish although Antonio serves different type of pastas as well and meat based second courses. I had the fish of the day and it was delicious, nicely prepared and served. On the high side price wise.

We started with sharing Tuna tartare and seabream carpaccio, caprese bufala instalata and gnocchi with zucchini and vongole. We then had their scaloppine, swordfish and pesce del giorno as our mains and each dish was outstanding. The service was first class. And I highly recommend a bottle of Luigi Einaudi Costa Grimaldi Barolo (2009) from Piedmonte.

Fish overcooked and underseasoned. For what we had it was very overpriced. All in all we were underwhelmed. Focusing more on the food and less on just looking like a top-end restaurant would be beneficial. I suggest you avoid this one.

We chose this restaurant for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. We had one of the best meals we've ever had and it was quite reasonable. We tried the anchovies marinated in lemon and they were wonderful. We also shared the pasta with seafood pesto and then had the monkfish and the swordfish. The fish was prepared just perfectly.... This restaurant had good reviews and was highly recommended by our hotel. The place is very nice with semi-outdoor seating as well as indoor with A/C for hot nights. The owner, Antonio, was very nice and friendly. The offer of a cordial when you sit down was very warming and welcoming. The wine list is good with his help we... More

With only one night to spend in Santa Margherita, we are so glad to have chosen Antonio's for dinner. We arrived as a group of 4 on a Thursday night without any booking and were welcomed by very friendly staff. Our waiter (sorry we can't remember his name - but he had spent some time in Scotland?!) helped to make... More

A Via Michelin recommendation helped avoid the common last-night-of-the-holiday averageness. Prices slightly elevated but by a small margin. Best Vermentino we have had in town. Perfectly cooked and flavoured fish and pasta. Lovely service. Could not get through on the phone, as someone else has mentioned, so we tipped up early and booked for later (Cafe Borgo first, for gins).... More

Sitting in the narrow courtyard (but lots of space between tables) at the side of restaurant is very nice. The waitress and waiters are efficient and the baby octopus followed by risotto was lovely. A good bottle of vermintino, a plate of cheese and a glass of red rounded off a very pleasant evening

We enjoyed the food here but more than that we loved the friendly staff, including Antonio himself who was there visiting every table and providing recommendations. Very nice restaurant for local tastes.

After staying in a few places and young to Anglo 48 twice we ventured out to Antonios which we really wanted to like but when we walked in their was a powerful smell of fish which we put done to it being sea food place but didn't set us off to a good start . The head waiter was attentive... More
