We visited Cadorna for lunch today as it it just 100m from our accomodation. To our delight the waiters (who spoke little English) were extremely charming and tried their very best to communicate the menu to us in detail. We selected the pesto pasta which was delicious!! A real Italian pasta! We loved it. After being in Spain and not... More

We went there with friends for an incredible dinner. Run by the owner and his wife this place is an incredible find. If you enjoy fish, seafood and great wine you are in for a treat. Preparation is very creative and delicious. We will be back.

On our first night in La Spezia - September 19th 2015 - we thought we'd try Cardona. My wife had steak and shared her grilled veggies with me. The steak was thinly sliced, large and well done, making it excellent [I had some, too, even though I'd really rather be vegan than a meat eater]. I had baked fish with... More

I was there with my girlfriend this evening. The food was okay but the portion could be bigger. The biggest problem is the speed and quality of the service. We waited ca. 25 minutes for our orders (Spaghetti Bolognese, mussels with cheese on macaroni). The other guests who has been there more time they got their food faster than us.... More

The little Restaurant very close the water has an extraordinary location and provides high standards on fish dishes for gourmets and people who search for something special with affordable dimensions. Really nice and friendly owner. Decorated with quite some taste. Definitely worth a visit!

Until I moved abroad recently, I have lived in La Spezia many year and I still return there quite often. Cadorna was one of my preferred places where to go and eat. It is small and cozy in winter (only 20 seats), while in summer you can seat outside on the edge of the small main central park (Piazza garibaldi).... More

My husband and I are relocating to the area and we have been to Cadorna several times with our 5 month old baby. The staff has always made us feel at home and their food is fresh and always manages to exceed our expectations! We will be going back again very soon!
