We were walking from Manarola to La Spezia and the heavens opened and I had a big sense of humour failure and then we found this cafe tucked away behind the church and everything was OK again. The food is simple local dishes and it's counter service - perfect for walkers. Thanks to them I was sustained enough to carry... More

We stopped here on our walk from Riomaggiore to Portovenere, and thoroughly enjoyed the homemade lasagnes, one of the best I ever had! It's well worth a stop and all food is homemade!

We stopped here for lunch as part of a group hiking trip and were so impressed! The restaurant focuses on fresh, local Italian food and it shows in the quality of their dishes. We had focaccia, a selection of cured meats, parmigiano reggiano, salad, and spinach tarts. Everything was simple but delicious. Would defnitely recommend this place for a great... More

My daughter and myself were on the Cinque Terre walk from Rio Maggiore to PortoVenere, and arrived in Campiglia at lunch hour. The walking path passes right by Piccoloblu, and we decided to stop for a quick sandwich. Instead we feasted on beautiful focaccia with tomato and mozzarella, and we also had fresh fruit with fantastic yogurt. This was accompanied... More

We ate lunch here while walking from Riomaggiore to Portovenere with a group. The picnic tables are marked as to whether they may be used by hikers who bring their own lunch. We were told to bring a lunch, but after looking at the food, ordered a salad that had barley, olives, tomatoes and cheese. It was better than the... More

This cafe is well situated on the walk from Riomaggiore to Porto Venere. It drops just right for lunch. Everything is served in little wooden boxes - very good home-made pies, gargantuan ham focaccias, salads etc - some enticing desserts but I didn't get that far + saving myself for ice cream in Porto Venere. Very pleasant garden area to... More

We stayed two nights in Campiglia, not knowing that in wine season, the restaurants are closed due to the proprietors being busy making their wine. Being 30 minutes out of La Spezia we were stuck for options, so we ate at the only open place in this small, picturesque village - Piccolo Blu. We were so pleasantly surprised! For a... More
