Having eaten some poor meals in Lerici/San Terenzo it was a joy to come to a classic Italian eatery, full of local people enjoying lunch. It's nothing fancy but we had the local speciality soup - mesciua ( a bean & grain soup ) which was hearty and delicious. I then had the roast pork which was sliced loin with... More

We did not like anything about this place at all.. Food, service , plates all were inelobarate. We ordered a seafood sphagetti but there was no sea food in it only shell of some seafood. It looked very ugly. I also ordered an octopus dish with peas but could not eat it. It tasted burned and looked ugly too. Nothing... More

Cannot figure out the good reviews. The food looked like it was made in granny's kitchen in a bad way - al the foods had the same base sauce and the mussels tasted like pate from the supermarket. I'm pretty sure the anchovies came from a can and were placed directly on the plate requiring 0 effort from the staff.... More

We managed to get a table in this popular restaurant which was booked out for the next 2 days. It had hundreds of stickers on the door for awards and was in the Trip Advisor hall of fame. The menu outside was extensive and had many different dishes. We weren't served straight away and the menu inside was much smaller.... More

Tasty and well priced local fare. We ordered 2 fish dishes, pesto pasta and a traditional bean soup which were all yummy. Remember to try the pesto ice cream; I surprisingly liked it! Make a reservation before you go because it's very popular.

this restaurant has a cozy interesting location, it seems to be a favorite for locals, big portions of simple food for a decent price. nothing to write home about but cant complain much either. recommend if youre looking to eat reasonably well (home cooked food) for a reasonable price

The place is charming. Located in the basement, but fool of people, local people. The food is excellent and portions are big. The service is fast, although sometimes overwhelmed. And the prices are excellent. Great value for monney. Just you need to make reservation and only cash payment.

We wanted to try some local food and we had the chance to find this restaurant. The food was amazing and is an interesting experience to try Pesto Ice cream. I totally recommend this place and If I will go back to La spezia I will definetely go back there.

Had heard great things about this restaurant but unfortunately I found the experience to be quite average. There was a menu in English - passed across the table of strangers next to us. Don't expect friendly service. Our waiters acted like they couldn't care less about the customer, never smiled and practically slammed the drinks and plates on the table.... More
