This is the kind of place you want to love. Hole in the wall with platefuls of lovely looking food. I order a plate of little fried fish. She took a mound of the previously fried fish and whacked them in the microwave with the predictable effect that they were warm greasy and soggy. It makes life really efficient for... More

This is probably the most famous friggitoria in Genoa, as on the Wikipedia site there is also a photo of the Italian singer/song-write Fabrizio de Andre pictured here. As predicted it was really full of people and you might have to wait to get a seat on one of the few stools available here (4 or 5 stools are there,... More

Impossible to park, street is dirty and full of street vendors, but totally worth it! Located just across the Porto Antico and the aquarium, great place to get a bag of food (no table service, only take out)... More

A small establishment, nothing fancy, alwayes queue. But you'll find here fresh, tasty and cheap traditional genovese seafood. Worth visiting while in Genova or around.

Do not expect anything big or special, but this is real Italian street food, best of it's art. You get what you see, everything is fresh and tasty, made in front of you.
