A very decent place at the heart of the city. A small corner of resistance against high prices and "coperto" that dominate italian restaurants and pizza places. Very friendly owners with delicious pizza in a home-like environment. Glad that such places still exist!

We searched the narrow streets of Genoa for a good pizzeria and we found it. Simple tables, drinks you have to take out of the fridge yourself and pizzas served on a cardboard base of a pizza box. Always a guarantee. Excellent pizza (the best in the historic center). This is a place where you eat well and spend little and feel at home, it's not always a pleasure to return. Having recently arrived in Genoa we had to have dinner and as we also have 2 children we think of a pizza as an option which is good for everyone...we say the place is "typical", but our gaze focuses on the workers/owners who are very old and scruffy. We decide to sit down anyway given the time!! The thin pizzas arrive, almost like piadinas, I think with a total absence of yeast, undercooked and with toppings that leave nothing to be desired, to say the least, my husband even refuses to finish it... I don't even finish the calzone soaked in tomato and mozzarella... ..I think it's the worst pizza we've ever eaten....to say terrible is an understatement🤮

Small and dirty place. The door of the fridge where you take the bottles is filthy and the two rooms, especially at the top, are full of dust and cobwebs. Non-existent service. What a shambles. We were there when they opened at 7.00pm and still waited over 90minutes for a pizza. And then the pizza was so bad with tons of tomato paste and little else. Don’t even think about coming here you will be bitterly disappointed

Especially recommend trying diavola. They serve wine from plastic cups and have disposable cutlery. The pizza was amazing though, would definetely go again? Lovely and helpful owner too.
