The only place I ever go for Ice cream in Genova. Nothing quite like it! Chinotto in particular is unique.

There are more options than just gelato but that is what we were seeking and found one of the best. This is a great stop as you walk around Genoa. It is near the UNESCO site Via Garibaldi. Via Garibaldi is a must see attraction in Genoa and nothing makes it more enjoyable than stopping at Gelateria Profumo on your... More

Delitious treats in nice price. I recommend it to everyone who likes some sweets during walking around the city.

I went there in the morning and found the choice of flavours dull. As they didn't suggest one I tried mandorla, which was okay.

We got there in the evening and they didn't have many flavours left, which seemed a bit weird since there were still lots of costumers. However, if you go in the morning you'll probably find all the flavours. The location is not that evident, so it would be better to ask for directions

I do not understand why there are negative comments about this amazing ice cream (gelateria) place. We were walking on the streets and we asked a local resident for the best ice cream in town. And a young lady direct us to "Profumo"... !!! One of the best I have ever tried... Yogurt, Ananas & Nocciola!!! Out of this world.... More

There are about a gazillion places in Genova to get gelato and many of them are excellent but this place stands head and shoulders above the rest. Organic ingredients sourced from the best places in the world. (There's a list on the wall). If you're picky about your health and your taste then ... This is the place for your... More

Travelled far and wide on motor yachts as a chef and this is without a doubt the best gelato i have tasted and used to spoil the rich and famous.Unique flavours and my tip is to try the fruit flavoured gelato.

Eating ice cream in Italy is a must - eating Gelateria Profumo's ice cream is a must for visitors to Genoa. You won't find containers piled high with ice cream in lurid colours here. The ice cream is stored in metal containers and the flavours are listed each day on the wall. You can ask to taste a flavour. We... More

The shop is worth a visit just because it's so nice and clean inside, and very charming. I thought the selection was good, and opted for coconut. It was really nice. Not as nice as the one I had in the morning in Boccadasse, but it was more creamy, which some might like. The gelato is great almost anywhere, but... More
