Great service, excellent food, attentive staff. Small and intimate. The wine list is good and the food was tasty.

This restaurant was close to my B&B in the historic centre of Genoa. I went there on my arrival for Sunday lunch. The waiter was very welcoming, showed me to a nice table and explained the menu. I had a seafood trofite (?) pasta dish which was delicious, washed down with a demi bottle of wine and sparkling water. To... More

Tasty seafood with fair prices. Short catalogue with some variety on the wine list. Good service and polite personnel.

The service was too slow for my taste: what I hoped to be a quick lunch took two full hours. The starter (misto dell'entroterra) was ok, but very simple. The primo (trofiette dello chef) was excellent. The dessert (crema di yoghurt ghiacciato) was rather unimpressive. The location and the interiors are very nice, the place has potential but overall it's... More

Good variety of typical Ligurian dishes. The restaurant was extremely hot and we were informed they had a problem with the airconditioning. The waiter was inefficient and unfriendly which in the end did not make this a good dining experience.

Beautiful place, great food, friendly staff. Dining as it should be! We went on a quiet Monday evening. In the weekend be sure to make a reservation in this cosy restaurant.

We went to La Buca for a family dinner further to nice comments fron TripAdvisor. Staff was astonishingy rude, at a level well below the basis of politeness! No other drinks than wine from the menu was available for aperitif. Our dishes (7 guests) took more than 20 mins to arrrive from the first to the 7th. Food was ok,... More

Atmospheric restaurant nicely decorated. In the old part of Genoa. Good selection of Ligurian dishes, the truffle pasta was excellent and the Ligurian fish with mussels and octopus was very tasty. Good selection of wines and very polite and prompt service.

A seemingly quiet restaurant - until the door opened and we realised the large number of diners already lunching at this discreet place. We entered a cosy comfortable place with one room leading to another - the restaurant seats many more than on first appearances. Being tourists, we settled for the "Menu" lunch. Bread and water arrived quickly, we ordered... More

So, my boyfriend and I have been traveling for just over a month and a half through Spain, France, the UK, and now Italy. We also eat out a lot in the States as well, typically at nice 5 star places. That being said: This is literally the best food I have EVER had!!! This place is located in a... More
