My partner and I went there twice on a recent trip to Genoa. The first time we had pasta. Very basic but great value for money. The second time we had a fried cod dish with chips. The meal came within two minutes and was dried up and very doughy. The cod was battered and the chip looked and tasted... More

They have a handwritten menu in Italian, and the staff does not speak English at all. The minestrone soup was OK, but the main courses were at the level of a bad school canteen. A menu costs 10 EUR (two courses plus one drink) but it really does not worth that.

Expect very basic, no-nonsense food and interior. Super friendly staff and athmosphere. You might find the menu difficult to read (hand written and copied) but definately interesting for a taste of the local dishes. Good prices too.

Traditional Italian food at an awesome price. It is like stepping back in time, but the pasta dishes are great! We ate as a family of 8 and the total bill including drinks was €52, such amazing value for money! Try it!

We went late on a Thursday night , sat at a communal table and choose a few dishes which had run out . We settled for a meatball dish , stuffed zucchini , pesto pasta and veal with tuna cream sauce . All were pleased with the choices but I particularly favored the pesto pasta . Wine accompanied the meal... More

A Trattoria of tthe old with simple tables and no frills, only genuine quality for traditional genoese recepies. Try the "Pansotti walnut sauce": delicious!

This very typical trattoria gives you overview of all typical Ligurian dishes. You have a written on the paper menu of the day with quite big selection of first dish, second dish, cheeses, cold cuts and desserts. Food is tasty, fresh, seems home made and what's more important in the expensive city such as Genoa the bill will nicely surprise... More
