I came here for the first time in 1989, and since then nothing has really changed, except the hair colour of the host, turning silver (and he is the son of the original ones!!!)... In this very very narrow little place there is only one item: panini! Daily baked bread, with the widest choice of fillings I've ever seen, typical... More

Popped in as we passed on the way to our apartment. No frills but there is an amazing selection of different meats and cheeses to fill the '00' flour buns. We went for the wild boar speck that had a deep meaty gamey taste and truffle salami with goats cheese. Both were delicious and for 8 € you can't go... More

It's really famous in genoa this small place, but it's the better place for panini, no one is capable to do the same...and the queue outside confirm this.

I got a sandwich with swordfish, onion, and citrus, which was good and not too expensive. You can choose almost whatever you want in your sandwich.

Friendly service and great food. The selection was hard to choose from because it all looked so good. The lady gave some good advice and offered some of the customer favorites. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite, but not really for a sit down. There are seats, but you'll be hassled by people as you eat...

Small place, no seatings, crowded and with basically unhealty tasty food. Don't see why it should be so high rated

Good selection of toppings but I dont understand why this place should be so high ranked. Just normal sandwiches and nothing really special.

Good value for money but definitely wouldn't say it is in the top 5 places to eat in Genova, not sure what the fuss is about.. Good selection of fillings

Best tasting sandwich I have ever had was at Gran Ristoro! There had a long line out front and the wait was worth it! The man at the counter spoke English well and helped us chose an interesting combination of fillings for what must be the best sandwich in town! I am still craving the taste and flavours of Gran... Lives up to its great reviews. Offers almost infinite range of options for cured meats, salamis, cheese and salad items. You choose, the staff slice it and try and pack it all into a roll. Drinks including wine and craft beers also available. Tiny space. Two rolls and drinks for under 10 Euros. Excellent lunchtime caption in Porto Antico area.
