Good selection of toppings but I dont understand why this place should be so high ranked. Just normal sandwiches and nothing really special.

Good value for money but definitely wouldn't say it is in the top 5 places to eat in Genova, not sure what the fuss is about.. Good selection of fillings

Best tasting sandwich I have ever had was at Gran Ristoro! There had a long line out front and the wait was worth it! The man at the counter spoke English well and helped us chose an interesting combination of fillings for what must be the best sandwich in town! I am still craving the taste and flavours of Gran... Lives up to its great reviews. Offers almost infinite range of options for cured meats, salamis, cheese and salad items. You choose, the staff slice it and try and pack it all into a roll. Drinks including wine and craft beers also available. Tiny space. Two rolls and drinks for under 10 Euros. Excellent lunchtime caption in Porto Antico area.

Those sandwiches come straight from heaven. So nice! I head a veggie choice out of numerous different toppings (cheese, antipasti, pesto, fruits, soft cheese...): goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes, eggplants, onions and mushrooms- absolutely beautiful! My partners with Milano salami (honestly you can choose between a huge amount of hams, salamis, sausages, meat...) was very nice too. He was... More

Everything you ask from a snack buffet. The food was amazing for me and I also liked the cozy ambiance. If you are not a vegeterian you will enjoy here much more.

You need to queue to get in but well worth the ten minute wait. The choice of ingredients was overwhelming but the friendly staff advised me on what I should have and I wasn't disappointed. Best sandwich ever. Only downside is that there is very limited seating but ideal for a lunch on the go.

The paninis were yummy, and the location is good. The prices are a little bit on the upside. I would recomment this place :)

The name of this little shop was " Dal Toscano "20/ 30 years ago. The name for people tuscany selling a great variety of salumi in panino. I read few month ago an american people that explain how eat and taste salumi . If you love and want explore "salumi toscani" visit "gran ristoro" at least 3 times.

this little shop is a cult place. lots of different kind of sandwiches with toppins, dressing different from usuals. Next to the ancient harbour, the Aquarius, in the middle age part of Genoa. you can't get wrong...the line of people outside show this place.
