The Pirata Restaurant & bar is located next to the post office, in a quiet street of Vernazza. You may not have a view but don't be put off by this. You MUST eat at this place at least once. It's peaceful away from the crowds and the two Sicilian brothers who own and run it are lots of fun.... More

All the gems are hidden on the back streets, which makes them special! Off the tourist trap places in town, this one is tucked away but only a 5-10 minute stroll through the cute town of Vernazza. The twin brothers who own this special place will keep you smiling and entertained while you they wait on you, making you feel... More

The restaurant served great food and the owner was very friendly and had a good sense of humour as well! The food was served in a timely manner and it was really good. We ordered the anchovies as a starter and it was so good! But the best was the panna cotta that they served for dessert! I would recommend... More

This cosy restaurant was by far our favourite place to eat during our stay in Vernazza. We had breakfast there every morning, enjoying fantastic coffee, delicious pastries and beautifully fresh juice. The owner is so friendly and passionate about the food they produce. Every morning he would greet us like old friends and tell us about the delicious selection of food... More

Hike from Monterosso to Vernazza and experience the breathtaking views. Then, head straight for this little, off the main drag cafe. The brother owners make a point out of being Sicilian and a bigger point out of being funny and personable. The food is eclectic and wonderful. We started with a charcuterie board of smoked deer, duck and beef carpaccio.... More

We ate there the first time for convenience and ended up eating there the entire time we were in Vernazza. Food was spectacular. Service - phenomenal. The restaurant is owned by 2 brothers and they are the most personable people I've ever met. And welcome you back with open arms. The restaurant creates an ambience of dining with family rather... Had the seafood appetizer and the canneloni. Amazing. Canneloni with pesto pra, meaning top shelf pesto. Service fabulous. I could go on and on. Legit Italian food. Walk up the hill behind the town and enjoy. Wow.

Although there is no view from this little restaurant, the staff and food more than make up for that. The owner made fabulous recommendations and everything that we ate was amazing. It was a great way to end our trip to Cinque Terre. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Vernazza and immediately sat down and had a drink and a snack here. It was so good, and the brothers who run the cafe were wonderful so we made the return trip back up from our hotel to have dinner as well. Excellent!!

The two brothers are personable and amazing. The food is excellent as well, we ate there for breakfast and dinner. I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was unbelievably good. I would love to go back. The dessert was also amazing.
