Very nice place for a great dinner. The views of the harbour are nice, but the food makes it amazing. Great staff, very friendly and passionate about their job. The fish was perfectly cooked and the wine we got recommended by the waiter was perfect...for the dish.More

The food is ok, not spectacular. The service less nice than in many other places. All in all, nothing to remember

We had a really nice moment eating at Rio bistrot. It had the high standards of a Michelin restaurant in France. We took the degustation menu which was perfect, every meal was very savourous. Definitely going back next time, really good value for price!

Riomaggiore is a fairly touristy town and this restaurant is certainly a tourist destination, however the food is absolutely amazing. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the ocean, if you make a reservation, ask for an outside table. The calamari is the best I...have eaten. The meal with wine wasn't the cheapest meal we ate, but was delicious and high quality seafood.More

Rio Bistrot is one of those places where you don’t need to explain much. Service and setting were absolutely perfect - whole team fully dedicated to what they do, skillfully handling an influx of tourists and delivering the same quality of service to all. Food...was exceptional for an area known to be a tourist trap. Having taken the tasting menu twice, the quality of food was exceptional -twice-. Absolutely recommend this spot to all travelers. Do go for the tasting menu!More

We went for the tasting menu and were seriously impressed!! Each of the six courses (including dessert) was beautifully presented and an absolute treat for the tastebuds. The service was friendly and professional and the whole experience was way above our expectations. At 45€ per...person (excluding drinks) the tasting menu is excellent++ value. Book early if you want to reserve one of the very few tables on the terrace, which is well positioned just above Riomaggiore's attractive fishing port. The interior also has a pleasing vibe. Highly recommend.More

We were a party of 4 and arrived to Riomaggiore about 7pm and this was the only place opened. The food was ok but not Michelin standard, one of our party had the Ravioli and the next morning as we went for a walk, the...restaurant had got a delivery....of dried ravioli in boxes on the step outside. For 4 main courses and 6 small beers our bill was E200+, which would have been fine, if the food standard matched the charge. Needless to say, we didnt returnMore

Two visits and each time ABSOLUTELY fantastic ! Guys do keep an eye on each and every detail, starting from welcome Prosecco till the very high quality service and wines. Food here is an art: local tastes but with a mastery twitch, which takes you...on a real culinary trip:)) Congratulations!More

We had no reservation and were lucky to find a table. Several after us were turned away. Would recommend them.
