This restaurant is at the bottom of the main road the food is very good lots of fresh fish you need to get there early before they run out. The pesto is also good if are in Liguria you have to try it the service is also very good.

One of the best meals I had in Italy! I had a delicious plate of Ravioli and enjoyed the really cool grotto look that was the inside of the restaurant. Lovely staff, with a view into the kitchen from where we sat. I'd recommend making a reservation in summer if you're desperate to eat here, we were lucky to get... More

I was on holiday with my family and we took a day trip to Rio Maggiore. The whole place is set up for tourists on day trips so I didn't have the highest expectations - my negativity was blown out of the water! I had the best lunch here. I had a ravioli dish which was absolutely delicious. Everyone else... More

In need of a sit down in the cool on a day when we all realised we'd slightly overdone it, this was perfect. The cellars and the photos of old riomaggiore were atmospheric. The seafood was excellent (have the bold seafood salad and do share a risotto) and the service friendly from the one family all-female team.

Ate ate this restaurant twice during our 4-day stay in Riomaggiore. Both meals were wonderful and the service & hospitality were excellent, as was the location in the heart of town. Highly recommended!!!

It was our first night in Riomaggiore and we chose this lovely spot. It was so comfortably cool in the cave grotto setting compared to out on the street. I highly recommend their seafood. It's so sweet and fresh here! Service was impeccable and prices reasonable.

Food was amazing, one of the best sea food we ever had. While we were waiting for main there was an issue in the kitchen so we got free bottle of wine on the house and some extra bread with olive oil. Services was very good and they handled this situation well. It is worth place to visit if you... More

My wife and I enjoyed a full meal last night and we shared all courses. We ordered a bottle of prosecco, a mixed green salad, trofie with pesto, a ravioli (they called it stuffed pasta in English) with nuts spinach and cheese in a cream sauce, and a mussel "soup"--actually mussels in a tomato broth served in a mussel pot.... A nice enough place in a funky location. Decent food and service, but nothing exceptional. Mind you, the mussels entrée was good, and the Sciacchetra was very good indeed.

As the patio is quite small we made a reservation one hour before we wanted to come and it was no problem. The grilled fish tasted really good and the service is one of the fastest I have seen in my life and also very nice and warm-hearted.
