All reviews rabbit tasting board roasted chicken hummus spaghetti carbonara antipasti seafood great view enjoy the view giovanni battista prepared dishes small menu great place for lunch red wine cooked to perfection main street overlooking the water
It’s a nice enough place but it’s very expensive for what the type of food it serves. A very small piece of average fish for 24 euros and the prawn starter worked out at 5 euro a prawn. Food was ok but not worth the...moneyMore
This is an attempt at fine dining which is pulled off with high prices and small portions. Waiter service had no energy and was indifferent with no explanations of food or wine. Disappointed with the cod and watery mash potato and I think they forgot...to put apple in the strudel - it was all pastry.More
We were a bit disappointed given the reviews and after doing
The staff seemed in a rush when we were deciding for our order and on the wine (no help on choosing it), but then, we waited a loooong time for our meal.
There was...a misunderstanding on the meal order, and instead of suggesting to change, the answer was "No mistake, you ordered this". I'm in luck I am no vegetarian. Left us with a "bad taste".
Even though, the meals were very good.
We had a starter and a second dish (no pasta) which were very tasty, but a bit light for the price. The deserts were really yummy!!More
Recommended by our stay. Apertivo hour & dinner at Fuori Rotti is not to be missed in Riomaggiore! Set up with a sea view by Church San Giovanni Battista of Riomaggiore. Peaceful dinner away from the crowds but with a small menu of perfectly prepared...dishes with local products & paired with excellent local wines. Very fair prices, attentive service & incredible food. We kept returning every night during our stay…. Apertivo hour between 1800-1900 included a variety of filling quality made “snacks” with out drinks. Sold! Try their Negroni, you won’t be disappointed. We had Tuscan boar ragu with pappardelle & it was honestly more incredible than all the dishes we had in Toscana!!! Hand-pressed pasta with tomato sauce on a light fondue. Green lasnagnette with seafood cacciatore, spaghettone with lemon & anchovies- this dish was sooooo good that I had to have it 2 nights in a row! lemony butter pasta with crispy bits of “non fishy” anchovies. Wow! Taking menu with fish or meat were excellent. We finished with the rabbit which was cooked to perfection confit-style. Mind glowingly delicious dinners every night!!! Keep it up guys, you topped off our incredible days with sheer happiness! Grazie Mille!!!More
The only reason they still receive 2 stars is the location which is really nice and the food is tasty aswell. Although the service was terrible.
We waited over an hour for our food, portions way too small, prices way too high and the waiter...wasn‘t nice either.More
I found this place close to my hotel. It offered the best variations to Aperol that I tried and sitting there at the simple terrazzo with my drink made me feel like a million bucks! Later I went in and tried the food which was...plated in a more sophisticated way and tasted heavenly. Not many dishes to choose between but soo good and very affordable. This restaurant is located above the "main street" where most tourists were hanging out, eating fried seafood which was also a great experience. But I think Fuori Rotta, which means "of course" if I remember correct, offered an elevated experience, above the crowd.More
Please ignore any negative comments about this lovely place. It is above the city and away from the huge crowds. It is quiet and up the hill. I was able to enjoy an Aperol Spritz while overlooking the water. We went there several times to...enjoy the view, the drinks and the peace.More
The travelers or not can stop, sit and enjoy the view and some food and drink, whether inside or outside.
There is a relaxing atmosphere and the music is nice. The staff are kind and pleasant. Their wines, drinks and cocktails are interesting, together with...something to eat (daily menu) makes a perfect moment.More
I wish I could give it zero stars, We tried to eat here twice in the same day thinking it looked nice. But, we got such an unfriendly welcome by the woman serving while speaking Italian and trying to be friendly that we decided It...wasn’t worth it. No one deserves the stink eye for no reason.More

Unfortunately this is a bar not a restaurant so no booking is necessary. However the bar is brilliant an in a superb location but not far from the centre. Its worth a visit for a glass of wine or to have breakfast. Thanks
