We tried the fried seafood platter with salmon, sardines, shrimp, mussels, and calamari. It was fresh and delicious. Be prepared to wait as it takes about forty minutes to prepare.

This place was on my list of “must try” places to eat in Monterosso. We hiked all day long and it felt like the perfect reward. It was! We placed our order (2 orders of calamari) and a beer. We had to wait for 8-10...minutes for them to be ready but started with the cold beer and had a pager to beep at us when our order was ready to be picked up. It was worth the wait. Hot and perfectly cooked, tender calamari with a lemon for squeezing. I’m going back again before we leave!!More

The food was ok. Count about 20 minutes before you get served because it is little bit crowed. It is located next to the train station.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of the whole staff we feasted with no food and we explored the villages without seeing them!

It’s a bit of a wait BUT is so worth it. The food is prepared fresh and is delicious. We got the “all in” and it fed us both. There was a line but staff is honest about the wait time. This is right below...the train station. Get the great food, a couple waters, and eat and enjoy the views from the benches.More

Got the all in and calamari cone. Fresh, not fishy, and not greasy. Make sure you get the spicy marinara sauce! Best fried seafood cone in Italy! Staff was friendly and the one lady that served us was efficient and organized despite the chaos.

Delicious fresh seafood, cooked right in front of you to order and superb value, this is a must do in Cinque Terre and is perfect for an evening meal or beach snack.

We have no shame in saying that this was the best thing we ate all trip in Monterosso. Nestled away in a small corner of the train station, this unimposing hole in the wall is immediately noticeable because of the smell of fried food and...the LONG QUEUE. However, don’t let this hold you back, because if you choose to embark on this journey, at the end you will find the most delicious fried seafood you have ever had in your life.More

Please beware that the lines are long and slow moving. I think we ended up waiting about 30minutes but it was sooo delicious. We had the calamari, prawns and veggie mix and it was amazing. The prawns were so plump and the calamari was so...fresh. The veggies were a nice balance also. Highly recommend!More
