Oh my, what a focaccia

We arrived early in the morning, and both the regular as well as onion focaccia were still warm off the oven. The right amount of olive oil on top to make it soft and tasty. Excellent

Basically a cheese filled doughnut, fried bread is worth every indulgent calorie considering how much you walk in Europe!

We stumbled upon this place for a late lunch on our first day here as its down the street for our hotel. For €1.70 it's the best focaccia that I've had so far. The owner is super friendly and nice. Lots of locals go there too. We also had the pizza for dinner and that was good. Great place, great... More

Our host advised us that there was no better place for focaccia and as an aside, mentioned that we should try the farinata. Both are a must. They are fresh and perfect in every way. The two women who make them take great pride in their work and it shows. Don't miss this place!

I stopped here in the morning, at noon, and in the evening and each time found something very tasty. I loved the green olive focaccia in the morning and the pan fritto in the evening. The selection is varied and you can select the size of focaccia you want. I ate there several times and never ran out of new... More

Only tried the pan fritto which is a fried dough puff with cheese in the middle and slightly salty.. SO DELICIOUS!! Light for deep fried dough, perfect crispy salty taste. So so yummy for only 1.50 euro each.

This is a bakery, not a restaurant. There are all sorts of different types of focaccia but I went for the pan fritto. Sitting on a bench in the main street of old town, via Roma, I overheard a guide talk about the pan fritto in this bakery. Yep, it was fabulous. Still warm, the bread was light and puffy... More

The best farinata / socca I have tasted in Italy and France combined. The crispiest too! So authentic and located in a very charming spot in lovely Monterosso. We went two years ago and dreamed of it ever since...and now we are back in the Cinque Terre and happy to report that nothing has changed, it's just as good as... More

Everything in there looked fresh and delicious! They have pizza, and different types of bread. But I had to go with the fried bread with the cheese inside (forgot what it was called). This was AMAZING! It was piping hot, so you could tell that they just fried it. I liked it because it wasn't greasy at all. It was... More
