If you're looking for a bar with atmosphere, live music, a range of wines and aperitifs, La Cantina is worth a visit. Popular with the locals.

We spent 3 days in Cinque Terre and both nights at this Cantina. It was the best Italian experience I had the entire time in Italy. The wine was fabulous but the live music and fun patrons made this place magical. Long to go back.

I visited this place in January 2017. We came to drink one of the most popular drink in Italy aperol spritz. We paid an expensive bill for the poorest aperitif in my life. Only little olives to eat and almost zero aperol. Not recommend.

After a long day on the trains (including a breakdown) we arrived in Manarola late. It was a nice inviting place for us with two kids to get a late meal. Wasn't busy, only one other couple and the band. Nice ambience and there was something vaguely familiar about the tunes they were playing albeit the lyrics were in Italian.

Enjoyed a great meal at this charming spot. The drinks were strong but good and the soup was delicious.

Our night in the cantina was the perfect ending for our tour around the Cinque Terre. We were very well welcomed by the friendly staff, the ambience of the place matches perfectly the picturesque air of the villages. The food was very good, had a lasagna with the local wine, price was good also. A very talented trio formed by... More

My husband and I stumbled on this great little spot after exploring a good bit of Manarola and wanting to enjoy some drinks and snacks before dinner. LOVED IT. The owner and his staff are wonderful, patient, kind and friendly, and helped us choose just the right wine. Also, they have delicious focaccia and olives to snack on! Later in... More

A wonderful find on the main drag towards the beach. Not much to look at from the outside but full of atmosphere inside. Small and cosy on a busy day it was a bit full-on. Pleasant and attentive staff providing excellent food from a small space. A good place to. drink wine and probably an even better place in the... More

What started out as a quiet dinner, ended up with some really good entertainment. I wasn't expecting it, but as I was finishing my pasta with pesto, the guy started on the guitar, and he was really good. I ended up staying a few more hours, and the place was rocking. Since it was a Wednesday night, I have no... More

We went on a wine tasting here. For 15 euros per person, we had samples of several wines along with snacks. Gabriel, the owner, talked about the wine and the history of his place, which was started by his grandfather in 1958. We went back twice to listen to music in the evening and to drink red wine.
