We stopped here for a last glass of wine on our way back to our accommodation as it seemed like the only place open late. We were drawn in by the music and the people outside. The very friendly lady served up and chatted to us - a shame there was no local red wine available, but was still a... More

Yesterday, 27-5-2016, we ate here according the good reviews. Unfortunately, it was an enormous fraud! They sell prepared food as homemade (pasta, lasagna, salad etc) and then, they heat up the food in the microwave. This has only one name=fraud. We can also buy the same spaghetti prepared in the supermarket for 3 euros and warm it up with a microwave... More

The food is good (really good) and cheap, the owner is a sweetheart, it's open late, they have music: it's the best bar in manarola for sure. We had such a great time at this bar- fond fond memories. Go here!!

Coming from the bar/pub culture of the UK, I felt right at home in this place, in many ways much more like a British style bar than most Italian bars (e.g. pay for each drink at the bar as you go as well as the general darkened room ambience), without feeling un-Italian (I certainly don't want to give the impression... After getting into Manarola super late one night, we asked the hotel owner where we could grab a drink. He suggested La cantina and said, "Just walk down the hill and you'll hear it". And hear it we did. It was such a lively and quirky party. There was a band playing assorted jams, lots of people dancing, and the... More

I had been in "La Cantina dello Zio Bramante" many times in the past up to 6-7 years ago. I was very happy to have the chance again to come back hoping that everything was still the same. Unfortunately I wasn't that lucky. I don't know if the owners changed, however we got there in December (not really high season),... More

We stopped here for our last dinner in Manarola and wished that we had found this place sooner. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. What stood out for us was the personality of the woman who was serving us. There were quite a few young people in the restaurant and she was kind, patient, and respectful... More

We stopped here for a quick beer and found ourselves staying awhile and ordering another. We went down a few steps, sat outside, and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the people streaming by above us. The beer was cold, and the little snack they provided was just what we needed as a pick me up.

Arrived on the train in pouring rain. Enjoyed the warmth, house wine, bruschetta, lemon pastries and coffee ( for Australian's who like hot muguccino) this is the spot! We were warm, dry and the light eats were great until our accommodation was ready. I have a feeling that this place may be party central at night! Interesting toilet door!
