We had one of the most satisfying seafood meals of our lives at Billy. The selection of seafood starters alone was 15 minutes -- and around 15 plates -- of nonstop delights. For more than a dozen small plates, we just kept stopping after each...new bite, feeling some variant of "oh, my god...wow... ." Some were traditional and simple; others were more creative; they were all fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The view speaks for itself; it's a gorgeous place to eat phenomenal seafood and watch the sunset. Another high point was the service; our waitress had a quick, dry sense of humor, never left us hungry or thirsty, and made the entire experience a pleasure. Highly highly recommend.More

Service is top notch, quick, the ambiance and panorama of Manarola's sunset was perfect, food is amazing. Be sure to book in advance to avoid lines.

Let’s be clear, it’s a nice place. But we found our plates kind of ‘ordinary’. -The tuna tartare is fresh and ok. Melon and figues are not enhancing the taste; rather the opposite. -grilled tuna is fresh but too thin so it ends up too...cooked -the swordfish tagliatelle with truffle was sadly tasteless, like Chinese truffle. -desert (tiramisu or chocolate w almond) were ok. Nothing more. Maybe we had too high expectations. We suggest you try yourself (count 50€ per person).More

Great place for fresh and local seafood. I would recommend to book a table in advance and with a request for sea view as it is a very small place. The food is delicious and very fresh and local. A tip from us would be...the mixed seafood antipasti which is really a dream for any seafood lover!More

All I can say is this is the place to be! What a setting, I was greeted by Enrico who is leading the kitchen and then Leo who looked after me for 2 nights. Nothing was ever a trouble and the food was always delicious...and well presented. This personifies, simple food but the finest ingredients cooked to its best (or not not cooked in the case of the carpaccio!). Grazie regazzi, Ian xMore

A good meal with a view. Decent portion sizes. The anchovies with lemon starter was delicious, and the catch of the day (secondi) was nice and fresh. For us, the desserts were not as good as others we’ve had in Tuscany and Liguria - if...we return I’d skip it and have some of the excellent gelato from the place down the hill! There are two evening seatings; 7-9pm and 9pm onwards. Be sure to book a table outside to see the sunset for the first seating. We had to book a couple of days in advance.More

We had a brief stay in Manarola and ended up eating in Billy’s every night. We stayed at La Torretta Lodge ( also a great place ) and they recommended Billy’s Usually wary about hotel recommendations we tried it without any great expectations but it...was really top notch. Food , service , location , atmosphere were all amazing . The view down the valley to the sea was memorable. We regularly visit this area of Italy and may well come back to Manarola just to visit Billy’s and the Torretta LodgeMore

Really beautiful view from our table and delicious food. Only sad that we could only eat so much as everyone else’s dishes looked great too! Oh and they do gluten free pasta, yay!

Make a reservation way in advance or else miss out on this absolute gem of a restaurant! Tucked up in the hills of Manarola, we arrived super sweaty and exhausted from the heat only to find out there weren't any tables left. Luckily, some diners...left the restaurant early and the host was able to seat us! We had one of the specials of the day, crab pasta for 2 people. It was so delicious and perfect. The tomato sauce was so good and the crab was very fresh. We were able to watch the sunset from our table and our server was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place to eat, especially if you are a couple!More

No, they are closed on Thursdays. Unless they’ve changed their schedule since I was there in April.

Sorry for the late reply but in answer to your question, no it’s not easy to get to. Truly Cinque Terre in general isn’t very accessible. A beautiful place put stairs and lots of walking everywhere.
