First opened in 1915, Torinese is an original Art Nouveau bar, with an interior adorned by works of renowned Triestine cabinetmaker Debelli, as well as other known designers and a bright illuminated chandelier hanging overhead. Its place in Trieste's history was made official in 1999, when it entered the list of historic Italian bars. In 2014, the timeless ambiance was given a much needed shot in the arm with a new youthful management team, whose main focus is on mixing up perhaps the best cocktails in the city. You can also drop by during the day for fresh pastries or a light lunch.

Most beautiful place, well situated in the centre. Great coffee, prepared from very kind staff, in a really nice environment.. I heard from a local that its cocktails are very nice as well. Excellent prices, truly worth a visit..
Small old style cafe with original furniture and charming sitting space by the window. Friendly staff and good coffee. Visited at the time of carnaval so typical fritole were on offer. A very recommendable place.
