Simply the best I've tried in all Europe. Excellent place to share with friends and enjoy a great icecream.

What a wonderful place, it was good, we stayed 3 days in Trieste so I was able to try most of the tastes. The chocolate and nut ice creames in about 6 variations (or more?) the different fruity ones, you should try it, it is worth to visit if just in the region, it is just a few minutes from... More

One of the best gelateria in Trieste. Always crowded. Several choices for ice-cream and granita. Not far from the central station (5 min. by walk).

This amazing gelateria remains one of the must of Trieste, location is not one of he best but this is where people from Trieste used to go get great quality ice cream almost any time of the year much before all the other ice cream places in the city even existed. The service is very good and fast, ingredient always... More

Not for nothing are there always masses of customers in this ice cream parlour summer and winter: their ice creams are to die for! I personally always struggle to choose which flavours to have as there are so many to choose from. Anyone passing through should not miss such a treat.

This place is not as "clean" as Marco or Jazzin - it is very busy and chaotic. But if offers very good gelato. I liked cassata and dulce de leche best. They also offer some gelati "without name" (really! "without name # 1" but also 2 and 3) where they have more experimental l, mixed flavors. Portions are good and... More

While the texture is perfect, I do not find the flavors to be earth shattering. Compared to Marco, this place is definitely a notch down. I'd encourage you to walk the 8 minutes to Gelateria Marco to really have an amazing experience. Finally, I also prefer cups that are wider than tall. The tall cups used in Zampolli tend to... More

I've traveled extensively throughout Italy over the last 12 years. In all that time, I can recall one...possibly two "gelati" that stood out as exceptional. As of last night, I've added a third. I ordered a cone with two flavors: Mascarpone & Noci (Mascarpone & Walnut) and Pinolata (Carmelized Pine nut and Cream). Words cannot describe how amazing those flavors... More

The Gelateria has the best icecream you can find not only in trieste but in many Italian cities. If you happen to visit Trieste and you like icecream don't miss it they have over 30 different types of icecream.
