Very good seafood menu, and the food is really great. The service was excellent and the chef created a very tasty children's meal according to our wishes.

Had dinner with my wife on a weeknight. Dined outside where the service was excellent as was the food. Our hotel recommended Antica and it did not disappoint. Prices were very reasonable and the local wine selection was good.

Good service and very good food in this expensive "trattoria". Ask for some good "Collio" white wine and enjoy it with any of the typical fish dishes cooked at perfection.

i usually dont like writing negative reviews,as know from experience owning three restaurants in boston for over 25 years and running one myself, things dont always go as smooth as one might wish.even though the restaurant has a somewhat good reputation,it seems to me that the owners either do not know what happens in their restaurant or simply do not care.we... The food and the service was good. We had gratinati misti, very good and the granseola. We also had pasta. The portion were not that generous. The place is a bit more sophisticated than the average in the area in terms of tables, style etc., but I would prefer something more down to earth and local and get a bit... More

The food is a bit fancier than your average Trieste restaurant. However, it is not intimidating at all; just good quality Italian food with a twist. Had the culattelo with shredded radish and it was a magnificent combination. The pasta vongolese was perfect. Do make reservations because it gets quite busy.

We dined at here with a group of 15, having a preordered 5 course seafood dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive, also asking for any last menu changes from us. The food, including the sashimi, was very tasty, and wines chosen perfectly complemented the meal. The ambience at this trattorra was relaxed, and interior colorful and modern. Will... More

I enjoyed many things about my visit to Antica Ghiacceretta. When I arrived I asked one of the servers if they offered anything vegan and was told certainly I could find options and this was indeed the case! My server was professional, knowledgable and very willing to create a dinner that would work for me. My first course was a... More

From outside this restaurant is almost invisible. Once you are in it's great: colours, elegant cutlery and tables set up, English speaking skilled maitre and good, excellent fish. Wines from the region and from Carso and Slovenia are available to get a touch of Trieste mittleeuropean spirit. Desserts are also at high level. Enjoy.

I visited this restaurant multiple times. I Like it and would suggest without doubts. I tried different things from menu and all was very good. Do not miss to try millefoglio.
