We visited Triest during our holidays in northern Italy. First evening Hotel has warmly recommended us this restaurant. When we came in we were already disappointed, lady was cooking in front of guests and dining room was too small. High prices for what we had, food, service and venue.

We were looking for another place to have dinner (another one that we also found on trip advisor) but bc there are troubles with parking we needed to make couple of more circles around to leave the car. Being in Trieste for the first time we could not find the place we planned to visit at the first place and... More

Hard to find but well worth the effort. If you want an authentic Trattoria you cant go wrong. Tucked away down a side street this Restaurant ticks all the boxes. we had the marinated sardines as a starter followed by spaghetti with seafood . A good choice of wines.

The restaurant was extremely busy and they told us that they had no room for us , but we could wait inside for a table. The aromas from the kitchen kept us happily waiting (along with the tasty house white) When we were finally served -we were not disappointed. We had the spaghetti vongole and a salad. The vongole was... More

(Visited May 2016) While on a day trip to Trieste and desperately seeking to avoid "tourist trap" restaurants, I chanced upon this little place down a side street - the presence of local customers outside and in, as well as the menu, drew me in for lunch. I enjoyed it and if I were in Trieste again, I would definitely... More

Small restaurant in Trieste. Very nice fish! One day we took rombo with potatoes, amazing. Everything is very good, starting from the appetizers and finishing with the dessert. Enjoy it.

Antipasti was octopus with boiled potato on bed of rucola and sardines with sour onions - very good. For primo we had home made spaghettini alla vongole with cherry tomatos - also very good. Secondo was Rombo from the oven with potatoes. Fish was perfectly done, cooked in its own juices - potatoes soak in all the flavours. Also we tried... More

After second try managed to book a table at this small pearl of italian cousin. Fish and home made pasta dominates the small but very persuasive menu. Starter with anti pasta octopus with boiled potato on bed of rucola and marinated sardines with onions - superb. Primo was spaghettini alla vongole with cherry tomatos - also a must when here....
