Quality of ingredients and process is out of question at this urban establishment with a rural touch. Highlights are in barbecue grill, in sous vide associated with finishing at the barbecue, in home made desserts etc. I had an outstanding salame, great barbecued vegetables (with amazing bell peppers) and a great pork shank. I would also note the good cost-benefit.... More

I had a good dinner based on parma ham, tortelli and tagliata. All was great. Ice-cream was excellent, a must

There were just can't say we sampled a lot, but the stuffed veal was way more than half uninspired stuffing and fat. We've also come to expect especially good meals at almost bargain prices around northern Italy, so our expectations were high for a place with prices more like you would expect to see in higher priced cities.

My friends and I read the review about Parma Rotta in our copy of Fodor's - Italy and decided to have lunch on our way into visiting Parma for the afternoon. We weren't disappointed with our decision. The roast pork shank, goose leg, roast lamb and fresh pasta dishes were all outstanding. The staff made the experience more enjoyably with... More

spent a wonderful dinner last week - location is absolutely awesome. food is great and wine selection too! mine selection was: parmesan cheese as starter, artichokes and grana cheese, a delicious secreto of patanegra and last but not least a delicious home made gelato with sides to flavor the icecream that's a perfect place for a delicious dinner

We've been several times here but it's impossible to order something else than the enormous Fiorentina T-bone stake. The meat is amazingly tasty and tender - one of the best beef ever tasted. Together with potatoes and grilled veggies, this will be a meal to remember and to come back. A little bit expensive, however... We could also speak about... More

Food was good and service excellent. A bit further from the center, but taxi will take you there. The Parma business collega chose this place, so it must be one of the good ones. Nothing to complain. A Michelin Star restaurant it is not:) Italian, down to earth.

Emilia-Romagna food at its very best, in an authentic, warm and informal atmosphere. This family-run trattoria serves the best ingredients available in this part of Italy, a region which has given us parma ham, balsamico and more. Built up by a couple passionate about food and hospitality over the past 25+ years, you feel the pride in serving only the... More

This is the best Italian restaurant we found in Italy. The food is amazing, the service is outstanding and Antonio and his family make you feel at home. When in the Parma area don't miss this place. Fresh wheels of parmesan cheese on the table and an outstanding wine cellar collection make this a memorable restaurant occasion. We had dinner... More

We were here on January the 1st, after 'fasting' most of the day... Our table of 6 was in an almost-private room, facing a vast assortiment of wines: good sign! The decor was cosy and the service very friendly. We decided to skip the 'salumi' as starter, fearing an overdose after a few days in Parma. Every dish was prepared... More
