Small family dinner (3 people) - On entering, the place looked deserted but people started showing up after an hour or so. Ordered 2 starters (primi piatti) and 3 mains. Mains weren't anything complex or sophisticated. Infact the mains weren't anything out of the ordinary. Mineral water was given to us in a jug which made me question why since... More

Cannot comment upon the cooking as everything I had was uncooked. It was my first meal in Parma and I was desperate for prosciutto and parmigiano reggiano. Which were absolutely topnotch. Washed it down with excellent local lambrusco. Would come back here, this restaurant is great value

In a very cosy atmosphere, the restaurant offers you a large choice of meals. The appertisers are good, as much as the sauce in the pasta. The panna cota dessert was exquisite. The waitors are smiling and nice.

One of the best places we ate on our trip. Try the pesto! The staff were really nice and the dining room very homely.

The lady who served us was incredibly rude.f first she almost refused to serve us an american coffee, she got upset because we only ordered main courses and she charged us a cover charge for a table for 4 even though we were 3 people. They wouldn't even refund us the two euro when we asked. We wanted to have... More

Went to this restaurant having seen tripadvisor reviews. Off the beaten track but well worth effort. Menu in Italian but explained by owner who was very helpful. There were 10 of us so ordering took some time.Very tasty traditional dishes and attentive service.

We found this place after enjoying drinks in nearby Dubhlinn bar ,a short walk from The Duomo. After a cold afternoon watching Leinster win against Zebre we were looking forward to yet another great meal during our 3 night stay in Parma and Osteria I Tre Porcellini did not disappoint. Wonderful Melazone Alla Parmigiana and a great red onion to... More

We were lucky enough to get a booking for Christmas lunch here. The owner could not have been more helpful when he understood I was vegetarian on booking. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. It was a set menu but by far one of the best I've had. As a rule I avoid fixed price set menus... More

This is a very cosy and authentic osteria, located a bit beyond the Duomo well worth the walk from the station on the opposite side of the city. On arrival without a reservation we four hungry travellers stumbled into the restaurant. It was a quiet Thursday evening with perhaps only two other tables occupied. Our host appeared initial forbidding but... More

The menu was only in Italian, and owner kindly explained it in English and recommended some typical local dishes. Everything was yummy. Our hotel staff recommended it as one his favorites for quality and price--and we can see why.
